It could start out getting all the high volume stocks from the previous day and then having it sort out what is gapping up/down, then possibly running it through the barchart.com analysis. And producing requested results. And just like that you have a list of stocks to watch that morning.

What I am looking for here is just more suggestions on what it incorporate into the script to find a good pick for the day. What methods make a good pick (statistically)?

I am trying to think of an order of operations here, some insight would be helpful. It would basically do whatever you do to find / research stocks but on a larger scale and much faster.

What I did is setup my account and then made a filter that searched for "OTC". So then every PR that popped up with OTC in it (which would be all pinks and BB's) then the news got e-mailed to me. Then in Yahoo I even made a filter to take all those e-mails to it's own folder in Yahoo.
