However, I don't think that this has any thing to do with the administrators of the board - according to PSU90 it is a problem with the website that hosts it.

My comment was that I also do not know what happened. I recommended dropping a note to the webmaster ("Allstocks") to see if there is anything that can be done.
Actually, rather than bombard him, I'll drop him a note myself letting him know of everyone's concern.
Thanks, PSU

Definately go back to the old method of sorting posts. If a brand new visitor to Allstocks starts viewing posts, they'll be thouroughly confused.
If the old method does not return though, let the users choose their own sorting preference. There are plenty of other(and better) bulletin board systems that allow this. If Infopop's board does the same, just let the users choose their preference.
Heck...if this board doesnt allow such a thing, just get one of the many available conversion tools and switch to a different bulletin board system. Maybe we can get a better board system out of the whole deal

on the topic of new boards, discusPro, http://www.discusware.com/, makes a good, simple board that is easy to use. Its not cluttered with features like boards such as vBulliten or phpBB. This current board does just fine though, except with the post order reversed as it is now, it is a little confusing.

I don"t post much (I'm still in the early learning stage) but I do read nearly every post. I think this is very hard to follow, please change it back.
