do you know why my gains from the stock I sold on friday arent showing up yet? Usually it is instant, maybe it has somethign to do with how long i held it for?

You MAY be suffering "Rule T". A 50 year old rule that was never enforced until a few months ago. I has been interpited(sp) incorrectly by Brokers who THINK it demands a 3 day wait for settlement in cash accounts, before the funds become available. What it really says is "within 3 days", but it's a tool to force ya to go to a margin account. You must have at least $2000.00 in your account to enable "Margin". You DON'T have to USE the margin. OTCBB stocks aren't marginable anyway, but if margin is enabled, they won't mess wid ya. lolol.:-) Just a thought.

BTW: Look in actual Balance, ie Portfolio at Ameritrade, I don't know "MyTrac" and see if the true balance shows it, but avaliable cash does not. ?????? That's what happened to me.

thanks dallas, thats probably what it is. I should have close to 500$ but it is only showing 396$
