I have ameritrade too and i am thinking of switching to scottrade. The only drawback is scottrade charges more for under $1 trades and pinks have to be done over the phone. Back to ameritrade, do you find them slow to execute?

I assume you're using a limit order--as should be used with all pink sheet stocks? Is this also an "all or none" order? Smaller quantities/non-limit order may have priority over your AON limit order.

Friends,
It is limit order . This is the real example today morning. I had order of 50,000 buy order of IBZT at .042. That time the ask was .04 and BID was.0395. The order remain all open eventhough there were many ask .042.
This is another example few days ago. I had sell order of 500,000 gwdl at .0032. Ask was .0035 bid .0034. It never executed eventhough there were many bid of.0033 or better. waited for 30 minutes never got excuted. I turned my prifitable trade into loss trade.
The truth in my experience is that it is always loss trying to daytrade otcbbstock with ameritrade because of no execution howver it is a bit better trading nasd or listed chares.
I will be checking your opinion and expertise in this board every minute.
Cause i am dissapointed now because i an about to be in negative because of this problems all the time. It never executes the order fairly.

Dev,

I agree with you. My sell for SFII .0022 has been sitting there for 2 hrs. The price has gone up to .0023 and it never executed. It is now down to .0017 and it will never go today I figure. I am switching to scottrade. A little bit more expensive but more profitable with the way we trade.

THE READBACK SHOULD BE
BUY IBZT 50,000 LIMIT@.O42 GTC (AON is in Advanced"SpecialInstructions")
Are you pulling a QUOTE realtime at bottom as you place the order?

Dev,

As I explained about the AON order. Also, are the prices you're seeing realtime or delayed? What do they say when you call them on this?

Ameritrade just gave me 30 free trade for it but did not giv em e any reasonable reason for that however few time htey said that durin high activity when prices moves fast it may not executed. That is true but when it slow then there should be other reason. I HAv ebeen daytrading for few years (i am college student too, but take it as more than full time job) but I only traded listed and nasd.

It sounds like they said "Ooops, sorry"--their explanation about high activity is reasonable--I don't know what excuse could be made during slow trading though. The 30 free trades is worth about $300; it sounds like a reasonable response to me.

I called Ameritrade about a similar situation the other day and was told that the MMs can do whatever they want with otcbb stocks -- that they buy and sell their own shares and it's not regulated the same way. They don't HAVE to execute your order if they don't want to. They can go all around your order. Sweet eh? Must be nice to be an MM.

I had a long talk w/ Ameritrade the other day about my order being there and other orders filling under my bid.

They explained to me that they used NITE to execute my orders. If I put a bid in on a stock that is less than the ask. They are not obligated to go "outside" to fill my order. They told me that NITE would not go around my order but that other MM's can.

If I put a bid in that is the same as the ASK then NITE will go outside of their system to fill my order.

I understand what they are saying, I do not like it. I am not sure if I am explaining it well.
