Started week with 15K in kitty. $5000 for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Three day settlement doesn't slow me down that way. I play this way each week. Break what I use into thirds. Today I started with $5000, and that same $5000 is now over $11,000 realized gain, and 12000 shares GTEL bought and held 0.115/0.15 and 1700 shares VPER bought twice for average 1.185/1.11close. News came out on VPER and they drove it down. That's why I bought more. I held on to these two because I think they will play well tomorrow. These gains are after taking a slight loss of $700 on MOTD this morning after they drove it down after gap up.

Find a good Chart site, I use stockcharts.com, and a good news site, meaning, not yesterdays news, but RIGHT NOW news. You can get a free two week subscription to barcharts trend spotter. Good site. You can get free real time quotes at freerealtime.com

3 daytrades in a week is not enough by any means
Are you trading with margin Marcidius? If you are then your right about the 25,000, otherwise drop the margin and trade all you want--although you have to wait three days for funds to clear. I'm probably telling you stuff you already know though! Have a good one, and make that cash!!

What discount brokeage do you use...Your brokeage would have be very efficient & quick for the daytrade...I assume ?
Fidelity did not fill my QBID @ 0.0002, however, you got filled around the same time @ 0.0002. Right now I have an open order sitting @ 0.0003 with Fidelity for QBID...still not filled.
I have officially started this day-week trading & are getting slapped specially with the sell decisions...Jan 15, 2004 was my first day trading day...does not look so good so far...but still holding...
I was actually a big board stock trader but lost a lot in the las 4 years...however, recovered a lot in the last 3-4 months in Penny Stocks (Incredible....)..What the Intels, Ciscos, AOLs, Timewarners, etc could not do....pennies are doing it, so far this is how it looks....

Cheesehead, actually no I'm not sure what you mean, lol...kind of ashamed to say so though . Please DO elaborate if you would...
From what I understand, to Daytrade (buy and sell the same stock during the same day) more than 3 times a week, you have to have $25,000 in your account. Please clear me up if my details are wrong ! Thanks for any help....
