Cybertel Announces Change of Business Concentration Thursday January 29, 10:15 am ET
VISTA, Calif., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cybertel Communications Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: CYTP - News) announced today that its board of directors and management team are taking the company in a new direction. ADVERTISEMENT
"The telecom sector has been a very rough sector to be involved in the past four years," said President & CEO, Richard Mangiarelli. "It is very competitive and will get more so in the future as WorldCom and Global Crossing emerge from bankruptcy, leaving billions of dollars of debt behind and begin to fight for market share. They will totally commoditize the long distance industry and force margins to shrink dramatically. Cybertel's Board has concluded that the company needs more than its involvement in telecommunications to be successful. Therefore, Cybertel will begin to acquire companies outside of telecom and change its method of operation for its telecom business."
Cybertel has targeted several acquisition candidates and has begun discussions with some of the candidates. The company plans to acquire several companies over the next two years, consolidate management and grow the companies into leaders of their respective industries.

Just gut feeling on this one... I like aggressive companies, and it sounds to me like they're going to seriously throw some money at their business model through near-term acquisitions. JMHO.

Seems any damage this PR did to CYTP is already done, and that its stabilizing at around .004. IMHO a good time to buy in at a discount price, to hold for near-term growth back to .005 and up.

cytp is telling you in other words that they are going to have a negative q-4 imho. this pr has little positive in it as they only have "candidates" for aquisition. i'm glad i sold some at .0082 when it was up around new year and had broken the upper bollinger. i would not be surprised if this didn't see the very low .03's before positive news helps the share price. intraday chart isn't making me even tempted to put in a buy order yet.

I don't see how this can be viewed as good news. In a nutshell, they're coming out and saying that they will not succeed in their chosen business and they now have to try something new. It's almost like being a start-up all over again. I'm steering clear of this one!

Thanks for the kind words - this was one of those picks that I made far too hastily... spur-of-the-moment sort of thing, and its a harsh lesson learned. Wanted to make sure no one took my previous advice and followed me into the money pit. ;-)

Hey Uncle Milty On my scottrader I show a bid or .0034 and ask of .0035 but every trade seems to fall below that. What gives?

I sold all my long and trading positions after the news today..I was expecting good news about givingcard or sth. related to VOIP..If they are planning to move into new avenues, how big the news about them( if any) can be.. I sold everything with a loss .. Uncle M., congrats selling some @ .0080's..I remember you mentioned it the same day you sold..Well, it's part of the game..It's time to move on, with a good lesson learned...I don't think I will play with CYTP again..

i think if there is good vol, i will change my thinking to beta play. this is going to move all over the place while investors fluctuate between nervous and interested. if cytp build some good diversity into their company it might deserve another look at long.

Mullet, I couldn't agree with you more. I have already bought today at the low. Raven has posted some really good DD in the past 3 weeks and if I remember correctly, the company stated that several pr's would be let out prior to the shareholders meeting. I'm buying when others panic.

I put a $1k in on the "hot stock" email at $.0047...and actually sold today at $.035.
I agree, this thing will rebound but its gonna get knocked down IMO for the next couple days and am looking to enter back in at $.0022ish w/ a lot more money than $1k
Keep those picks comin however. Have yet to meet the guy yet who picks everything correctly!!!

bought 80000 yesterday @.0044 and 50000 today @.0034...wow this bad news shure surprised the heck out of me..but I bought today again anyway...and am still holding PGHI..february should be fun for both of these..GLTA!

I put in an order to buy 150,000 @ .0042 before I went to work today. Boy did i mess up. oh well like others have said. " you can not be right all the time.
