I realize I have been gone for awhile but hopefully all should be back in order. It is time to make some profit. I Hope everyone on the board has matured enough and gained some business savvy to know when they might be fleeced into buying unworthy stocks. I cannot emphasize enough that good DD will help you win the war against stocks that crumble. Know when to play and when to get out. Know the competition and competitors. I will be doing my research on the companies involved in the WIFI game. My greeting to all my friends and new comers. Let's make this a profitable year. PS. My last stock was IBZT which I bought at .0044 last year and sold at .02 late December. Cj

WHOA! Welcome back Chicago Joe! You must have mental-telepathy!!! I was thinking not 3 HOURS ago about posting another public post asking when you were coming back! I figured you MUST have gone home from Mickey's hose by NOW!!! LOL ;-)
Glad you had IBZT. I got in at .0164 on New Year's Eve after REFUSING to chase it up from .0033!!! Had a buy in for .003 when it was .0033 and it ran to .007 and I thought -"No Way Jose". Dumb, dumb because I had forgotten all about someone posting around Dec. 20 that it was gonna be on CNBC, but took it with a grain of salt! Still holding it, but will try to play the rolls - if any!
What to you think of the Micros lately? Incredible, huh!?!
I posted around New Year's some that I liked a LOT, and they've ALL doubled plus- but I only had enough money for 2 of them. These .00_ _'s are on a ROLL this month!
I'm soooo glad you're back. You left JUST as I was getting started here. Let's have a heckuva Year - ALL of us!
If you've been reading recently, there are about 30 really good posters here now!

As far as Wi-Fi goes.. you probably know my wifi play for 04 is FGWC. Already made me a great deal of money, and I'm sure it will continue to do so after all of the developments the last few months. I expect to see .50 sometime before late summer.

LTM, Actually glad to be back, I guess you must have brought me back with the M-T. Now I have not been on the boards as of late, but I am wondering which Micros are you refering to. I have alot of searching to do. Being away on Vacation for roughly 4 weeks put a damper on me but my goal is to search a tad bit more on WIFI companies. Cj

Jeremy, Have you searched for other companies besides FGWC? You are right that WIFI is becoming more and more popular these days as folks are starting to understand it a little more. That why it is a good investment to look foward to these companies representing their WIFI products. Cj

Tim, True statement, But the catch all is that FGWC is not the only company around. The goal is to locate the other companies on this same venture. One has to find out who, what and where are they offering their services and to what extent as far as competitors. This is where you profit. A huge DD, if you will. That's good that you do some homework on a company. Now who did you compare them with? Cj

Pick any 10 or 20 OTCBB stocks at random and you tell me how many are showing black in their books. You'd be hard pressed to find one or maybe two. You have to look beyond some numbers to see the quality of company you're dealing with.
I will start with their low outstanding share situation. They don't have very many outstanding shares (about 250 million) and their spending is getting better. They have brought on to their management team some very well respected and experienced people. Paul Zygielbaum, formerly of Agilent Technologies, John P. Kelly, and Peter Mansfield...
A company that is struggling, or does not seek rapid growth does not begin putting together a very experienced management team. This company also has started large-scale implimentation of their products at UCLA. Again, a world renowned university like this does not just use any crappy hardware to build the infastructure of their wi-fi network.
This company does not post fluff PRs announcing every instance a board member farts, or restating the same old news over and over just for the sake of artificial price inflation. They only release solid and significant news relating to the company. This UCLA deal, there was NEVER a news release about it before they announced it was official. They didn't issue crap for months in advance saying "we are working with UCLA" or "we plan on..."
That is what a real company does, they aren't out to make their stock rise by posting BS every week. They are constantly working behind the scenes on major deals, and when these are finalized and release, you will again see the stock price rise.
All of their recent quarterly reports do not take into account the DNS of Ohio deal or the UCLA deal, essentially two of their only real revenue streams. So any numbers you see now don't mean a whole lot, because once we know what these sort of deals mean as far as revenue, we will all know much better how well the stock is priced.

CJ - the subs I've been following for a few months (some aren't subs anymore- and a few graduated BIGTIME to .05, .10, .20+)are:
ADVC CESY IDGE AGRD CYTP CTKH - Pink but I like it;flat screen plasma, came up from .0002 to .007 in a short time, Now .003-.005 FXGP ARSW IVOC - rebounding nicely - buyout rumors
MOST of the above have at LEAST DOUBLED in the past couple of weeks - some didmuch better, but pulled way back - like IVOC did after it's run to, what was it - around .016 or so.
IDNW (Now GLBT) from .002 to as high as .24 in 6 weeks - pulled back to teens. I got in @ .036 and sold at .158. The NEXT morning it flew to .24! Oh well - 340+ was the most I've ever made where I actually TOOK the profits before it went down.
IBZT - .002-.003 only 3 weeks ago - hit .08 about 10 days ago - hope it does an AGIS or NEOM soon! I bought at.0164 and didn't sell at .08 - Wish I had and bought back in @.03 - Then again - I had an order in before Christmas for .003 when it was .0033 and would NOT chase it up - went to .007 that day. Woulda, Coulda, shoulda!!!
LBTT - Another Pink I like only because of their nipplescope for breast cancer. From .0019 to .04+ Now in .03's
PGHI - went from .008 to .06 - now around a nickel.
PLKC - liked around .009-.01 - hit .04 last week. Now in .03's
Also - What does the "Fi" in Wi-Fi stand for? Is it Fidelity (Like the old Hi-Fi Record Players???? LOL
Have a good night and again - GLAD YOU'RE BACK!!
Steve

That's true, but they kinda had the inside track on this deal. ---------

Broadreach and PointShot Wireless Partner to Provide On-train Wireless Internet Access
PointShot Wireless, a developer of mobile Wi-Fi solutions, and Broadreach Networks Limited, the fast-growing provider of broadband Internet access for people on the move, today announced a strategic partnership to deliver high-quality Wi-Fi services to the UK rail industry. Together, the companies will offer rail operators a comprehensive and proven Wi-Fi platform to ensure the seamless rollout, management and support of onboard wireless Internet services. According to industry analyst firm BWCS, by 2008, rail passengers will spend $420 million per year on in-transit Wi-Fi services, and within five years, rail passengers will use the service on almost one billion journeys each year. PointShot Wireless and Broadreach will address this sizeable market opportunity by combining PointShot's knowledge of train operator requirements for passenger and back office mobile Wi-Fi applications with Broadreach's market-leading expertise in broadband Internet access and ISP/Mobile roaming technology. In addition to joint development of products and services, the firms will collaborate on marketing, business development and customer support.
Broadreach Networks is one of the UK's public Internet access pioneers, forging relationships with mobile operators, ISPs and other service providers to ensure that people can have Internet access based on personal choice of place, device and payment method. Initially Broadreach will focus on the UK rail industry, where it already has a number of customers. Broadreach recently signed deals for access to over 370 stations across the United Kingdom, including the major London terminals.
"Our commitment to Internet access on the move is supported by commercial backing from leading names in the technology and travel businesses in the United Kingdom such as Virgin, BT and Intel Capital," said Magnus McEwen-King, Broadreach CEO. "It quickly became clear that no other supplier could match PointShot's achievements in terms of deployments of on-train Wi-Fi. Broadreach's partnership with PointShot means that rail operators need only deal with one company to install hotspots on trains and in stations."
PointShot Wireless is the world leader in deployed rail Wi-Fi hotspots. Its technology is deployed on both inter-city and commuter trains in partnership with large service providers in North America. RailPoint(TM) is a mobile wireless solution that lets rail operators enhance their services to loyal and new travellers. The product increases yield and generates new revenue streams by offering differentiated on-board connectivity, communication and content services. RailPoint also enables new business applications, including onboard communication with passengers, real-time ticketing and advanced security features.
PointShot Wireless President and CEO Shawn Griffin said, "We've been watching the development of Wi-Fi in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe very closely. Our successful trials in North America have proven that profitable Wi-Fi services can be realized when targeted at the business traveller and mobile consumer. We chose to partner with Broadreach because of the company's commitment to the rail market, its extensive customer base and its experience and innovation in wireless Internet services."
Broadreach is a provider of broadband Internet access for users on the move, through both fixed-point terminals and wireless local area network access zones in high footfall public locations. It operates one of the largest networks of managed public Internet access locations in the UK, under the ReadytoSurf(TM) brand name.
Broadreach's investors include BT, the Intel Communications Fund, Virgin and VCF Partners. Broadreach has access to the largest user base in the UK with approximately 25% of the UK Internet subscriber market (equivalent to around 5 million users), putting Broadreach at the forefront of the public Internet access market. Broadreach is approaching the public Internet access market through four key channels - Transport, Hotels/Leisure, Retail and Special Events. Currently it is rolling out 4,000 locations for blue-chip partners such as Virgin Megastores (Retail), LA Fitness, Holmes Place Health Clubs and Tourist Information Centres (Leisure) and Virgin Trains (Transport).
Formed in May 2000 as a spin-out from Arthur D Little, the international management consultancy firm, Broadreach is the only fully funded, independent provider of public Internet access services in the UK, working with the ISPs and mobile phone operators to provide their subscribers access outside the home or office via the ReadytoSurf(TM) network.
Working closely with wireless Internet service providers, PointShot Wireless provides mobile wireless solutions creating environments that enable people to work, communicate and be entertained - no matter where they are located or how they travel. The company's family of products, based on the SolutionPoint platform, represents a unique architecture that bridges 802.11 networks to next-generation wireless, cellular and satellite networks, delivering a host of business and user applications. The company is the North American market leader in mobile Wi-Fi on trains, with three customer trials deployed on: VIA Rail in Canada, Altamont Commuter Express in California, and Capitol Corridor in California.
