STOCKGUY....

Intersting post.Whenever a new technology storms on the scene it always creates a certain group of people that are not ready for change. This technology probably needs to be refined...only a guess....but with all the monetary value for the economy I think it is here to stay.Take a look at USGA...BIPH ...NPCT....The first 2 have already skyrocketed and the 3rd will go pretty soon.

I am old enough to know that the secondary effort is more profitable(after primary takes all the risk and blows out),but follow it out and ID those secondary companys and get rich.

JMAR has been flying over the past few days. It just hit a new high on Friday. I'm not sure if there's much left in its tank.. but then again, I thought that on Thursday too.

Here's a great article on the hot Nanotechnology sector: http://www.fool.com/news/mft/2004/mft04010507.htm?source=eptyholnk303100&logvisit=y&npu=y&bounce=y&bounce2=y

T-18 and Van make very good points here. Generally early second wave does very well. Nice call on that NPCT T-18, I've just this morning looked into them and they look very good. I think BIPH is still a strong play even after Fridays big leap. T, would like to chat with you on Sunday morning. Check your email in the morning for my phone number. I'm arizona time, two hours behind east coast.

STOCKGUY....

There is a herding process when mentioning secondary companies.....The leader of the herd goes and the rest of the herd follows.
When something is hot in a given industry the second..third...fourth and so on receive the overflow of what the frontunner cannot handle. The increase of business trickles down to the smaller guys thus creating business for everybody. This is why retailers pay big rent to be next to a large chain store. The large chain will draw a tremendous amount of traffic and the little guy will feed off that overflow of traffic.I hope this makes it a little clearer for you.
