iBIZ Technology Re-Enables Web Sites After Huge Demand Brings Them Down PR Newswire - January 09, 2004 15:17 Web Traffic As A Result of Coverage From CNBC Video and the Virtual Keyboard Product Release Forces Temporary Downing of iBIZ Sites
LAS VEGAS, Jan 09, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via Comtex/ -- iBIZ Technology Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: IBZT), a leading manufacturer and distributor of accessories for personal digital assistants (PDA) and hand-held devices, announced today at the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show, in the Silver Exhibits, booth #70646, that its web sites www.ibizpda.com and www.ibizcorp.com , after being down for nearly sixteen hours, have been re-enabled.
"The demand from interested investors, the media, and others has been overwhelming," said Mark Perkins, Executive Vice President of iBIZ Technology Corp. "We implemented a dramatic bandwidth increase to accommodate the usage that has come as a result of excitement of the events over the past few days, but we never anticipated it would be close to the level that brought our service to its knees around 10:00 PM PST, last night. The release of video from the CNBC coverage is now accessible on our web site. That, coupled with the enthusiasm and curiosity that has been generated by the positive news coming from CES, and the stir created by the Virtual Keyboard has even exceeded our lofty expectations."
Perkins continues, "We have addressed the issue with our web sites -- service was re-established a little after 8:00 AM PST, this morning. We will see to it that our service continues without interruption."
The Virtual Laser Keyboard is compatible with Palm, Pocket PCs, laptops and desktop PCs. An upcoming version for cell phones will be available in 4th quarter 2004. The Virtual Laser Keyboard will be available for $99.99 from major retailers, e-commerce sites, and iBIZ Technology's own e-commerce site as early as the end of January, www.ibizcorp.com .

cabbage, you sound pretty computer savy, and mentioned running multiple monitors from your thinkpad. when i have my two laptops back from repair i would like to run a third and possibly 4th screen to keep several intraday charts and level IIs in view. how do i know that my laptop has that kind of a video card? one is a sony vaio, about a year old, and the other is only a couple month toshiba p25 s-607 that has a nvidia GeForce FX Go5200 with 64 mb ddr on the card. the computer itself is a pentium 2.8 with 512 ram. it has a 17" wide screen and can be hooked up to a tv and has a svga jack.
the sony has a vga monitor out jack.
can i run two different screens with these or do i just replace or duplicate the laptop's screen on the second monitor?
an extra 17" screen or two would really save allot of switching around. i can't wait to get back to the way it was before both of my laptops took a dive in the same week. i have been stealing time on our computer used for the non profit group. i think i have spoiled it and have given it bad habits by making lots of profit on it . LOL
any help would be great as i will be in los angeles for a few days the week of the 19th and could pick up some more toys. maybe you have a few recommendations.
check to see the specs of the laptops online to see if there is a dual display option. Sounds like the newer laptop can since it has a svga out. if this is the case just hook a line up to the svga port and toggle till you get both your laptop and external monitor going. not sure what key you would hit with that laptop but on the compaq laptops you would hit the FUNCTION (fn) key along with f5. check the f1-f10 keys, one of the keys will display a rectangle within a rectangle. that is the key you want to hit in conjunction with the FUNCTION key to toggle dual monitor support. I personally use the compaq evo line because they are great. I have an evo n600 and it works great for dual display as does my older compaq armada m700. Best of luck.

The video card you have will be fine. The setup I use is built in with windows xp, and many other operating systems. All you do is switch your display properties to an "extended desktop" mode, where you can drag windows from monitor 1 over to monitor 2. I use one monitor for my streaming charts and L2's, and the other for order entry/messageboard and streamer.

LOL, I'm sorry Uncle Milty, the best value line just made me laugh. You just made something like a 1/4 of a mill this week and your thinking value! lol
take care of the pennies and the dollars will come.
good value doesn't really mean inexpensive to me. i really know almost nothing about monitors. good value is something that won't break and give me long service without buying status symbols.
i can see how that is funny though. i have had a pretty good roll these last two weeks. take afrr to a dime this year and i'll book a suite in the queen and take ms mullet around the world.
He's pretty much the "head geek" there at TechTV. I'm a frequent watcher of that network and his shows. For him to say that the VKB was the "neatest thing on the floor" is pretty huge. He's pretty influential in this field, as the host of "Call for Help", "The Screensavers", and the author of his popular series of "Technology Almanacs" http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0735713693/qid=1073698498//ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i0_xgl14/104....
I don't know if he's one of the judges for the TechTV awards, but his opinion should be a pretty good barometer.

Hi, my first time here. I have a lot of IBZT stock. Do you think .20 in the near future. This thing seems about as hot as it can get without really making a huge upward move.

20 cents and then some! Hey they were talking a lot about IBIZ on KRLA 870 AM radio today. All they were saying was positive stuff. The guy who was actually at the convention said the VKB works very very well and that he was impressed. I'm getting more Monday as well. Does anyone know when this is going to be released for purchase in the stores???

I am still predicting a buck within the next 3 months. The product is what I really trust. News coverage is very high on this penny stock (Especially from CNBC).
It definately really hurts when the price drops 2-3 cents, the way it did & one is always thinking that you should have sold & got the profit. I definately feel bad for not taking any profit, but this should be big.
On the other side this is a healthy correction. Only 50% down from its high of .08 cents but 1200% gains from its low of 0.002x (As of Mid December 2003).
If everybody could predict when exactly to get in & out of a stock, everybody would be rich by now. This is a roller coaster ride.
It is important to do your DD & make the decision you feel is right for your hard earned money.
This is just my opinion without the intention of pumping this stock.

rajarammx, I think your prediction is way over. (not that I don't want it to happen) but base on the outstanding shares and the company profile... It's must be a miracle for this stock to hit $1 within the next 3 months. I am guessing to around 20 cents .... but who knows, it could go higher.....

I agree... with O/S of over 1.4 billion, it's really hard to see this going to a buck. Maybe with a 3 to 1 reverse split you'll see that buck. But with the amount of shares you have right now, I wouldn't expect to see over $0.30

Anyone's predictions for Monday or the end of the week? I sure hope it can get over my stupid buy price of .06. I'm so stupid stupid for buying it there. Oh well.

i see this gapping up to .05 then a bit of a decline to .043, then we're off to the races, possibly testing new highs. For the week .12-.15 is feasible
