Hello, I have a simple question. Lets say a stock is at .022 and I wanted to sell it but its making me sell it at .021 insted? I use ameritrade and the last is .022 and the ask is .022 but the bid is .021? Can anyone explain this differences between the 3? and how they work? thanks

Ask is the price that you BUY - Bid is the price that you SELL . If you want .022 you must use limit order (ALLWAYS with pennies !!!) and then wait that price move up to .022/.023

The Bid (.021) is what someone is willing to pay for a share
The Ask (.022)is what someone wants for their shares.
Your in the Ask column, but no one is willing to pay the .022 or there are other orders ahead of yours
If the stock is moving up, all you need is patience, the order will eventually fill. If the stock is moving down they you'll have to decide if your going to hold or sell at a lower price.

lol thanks for the advice van. I have come to realize that patience is the main key to make money on penny stocks. Good luck everyone on 2004.
