a happy and prosperous new year to all of you great contributors here on the allstocks board. i have enjoyed being a part of the sharing and learning that makes this the best micro penny board on the internet. thank you for all of your positive feedback and friendship.i closed the year on the years high for my microcap portfolio with 617% of my jan 1 start. this was a personal record in both dollar and percentage return. the cooperative research and opinion posted here played an important part in managing the 30-40 stocks in this portfolio. thank you to all for helping me have such a great year. there is a combination of seasoned veterans and sharp new thinking that makes for a very productive chemistry on this board.
stock student and other newcomers, i hope that with time you will be able to build diversity and free share positions into your portfolios. the beginning is the most difficult and if you are able to follow the formula for success we have discussed for the last several months here you will be rewarded over time.
i have mentioned before that i will be posting less until may because this is the time of the year that i smell the roses. i won't dissappear but will focus my efforts toward our non profit groups and getting some of this years wall street profit invested in real estate, and our own corporations expanding venture. i also will continue with music which is a key element in my personal balance. it's the annual yin and yang of what i do. i cannot completely step away from from my stock portfolio, but by building free share positions, and focusing on long plays i give myself the time to enjoy and share the fruits of my labor. i look forward to posting several times a week but probably will miss posts directed to me. the gamesnflix thread is an example of how much can be posted in a short time. it can be hard to keep up.
i finished 2003 and rang in 2004 with a marathon 2 1/2 hour set at our local club celebrating 2 new years as we live very near the time zone line. i am a bit "fuzzy" feeling so i hope this all makes sense. the party will continue almost non stop until next may. if any of you will be in puerto vallarta this winter please come and join the fun.
