Finally some good news!! Aquisition always increases stock value.
PS. I realize there is already a post started, but as a stock holder I think the title of the post is too negative to look at everytime I want to hear the latest on AFRR.

[American Fire Retardant Corp Announces Letter of Intent to Acquire Assets of
National Certified Fire Retardant, Inc.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 2003--American Fire Retardant Corp (OTCBB:AFRR) announced today that they have received a Letter of Intent to purchase National Certified Fire Retardant, Inc., a fire retardant paint and varnish manufacturer. NCFR is located in Huntington Beach, California. The first payment is to be made on or about December 17, 2003 and the assets of NCFR will become another asset in AFRC's fire retardant inventory upon the final payment on or about February 17, 2004. Stephen F. Owens, President of American Fire Retardant Corp, said, "We have been negotiating for some time to acquire this company and add their patented fire-retardant paints and varnishes to our expanding inventory of fire retardant products. We are well aware of the quality of their products as we have used and sold them for many years." Mr. Owens concluded by saying, "We are extremely pleased to be able to come to an agreement with NCFR and feel the acquisition of these paints and varnishes will greatly enhance our position in the fire retardant business."

new thread without the negativity. i agree! what appears here and on other sites certainly has an affect on the share price of these small companies. i think that last thread didn't help.
let's see where this goes today.

American Fire Retardant Corp. Announces Letter of Intent to Purchase Natura-Shield Thursday December 18, 9:15 am ET
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 18, 2003--American Fire Retardant Corp. (OTCBB:AFRR - News) announced today that they have signed a Letter of Intent with Teli-Net to purchase, for stock, all rights and trademarks for their cleaning product, Natura-Shield. Yer sick if ya think this POS is going anywhere except down, down, down............. I read it way back, where the old man could issue all the stock he wanted, but didn't heed that, thought the company would use common sense. Well, the 'old man' IS THE COMPANY ! And he ain't lookin out for you or me. This is a farce, and should be delisted from anything. How many poor souls bought when this POS was in the 50's to 60's, expecting something to happen, what with all these "TreeSafe" BS commercials and all; what fools we were all made of, by this old flocks diluting of the shares. This is a legal farce and the only people who have lost have been the investors who believed in this POS stock. I don't think there will be be any problem with that happening again old man Owens, you old sheet. A lot of people believed in you and your silly company. Hindsight may be 20/20, but it's darned accurate you old fool.
