UNOVA Changes Name to Intermec, Inc.
New NYSE ticker symbol IN
The name change reflects the company's transformation over the last eight years from a manufacturing systems and technology company focused primarily in the automotive and aerospace industries to a global leader in mobile computing and automated data collection technology.

I've had this since it was PPS $11.
Now that Intermec sold the Landis part of the organization, the bottom line will really improve more. 2006 the RFID market will take off. Should buy in with a leader in the field.

Not your original subject, but . . .Do you have any insight about Global Triad (GBTD) since the reverse split? I can't find info anywhere as to what's up with this thing. There was the GTRD message board which ceased after 12/23. Since then, no follow up messages to be found about this stock. Am I looking in the wrong place for GBTD discussions? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think it is still a very good time.
Look at ZBRA & SBL as a comparison. Since UNOVA (Intermec) sold their money loser Landis Corp., they will now consentrate on the technology wave of RFID.
See : http://www.rfidjournal.com/
for some information on the technology.
True, there are many players in this field.
Do your own DD pick one and get in.

A series of on-stand demonstrations, centered around the METRO Group's use of RFID in its supply chain, brings together five RFID pioneers, each of which has played a leading role in applying RFID technology in real-world applications. "It shows how RFID will help to transform supply chains and proves that properly designed products are already being deployed to meet EPC Gen2 standards."
