Stock is surging upwards. Instead of being a barrier, $500 gold is now a floor. It closed around $510 today. Every time gold backs down towards $500 it bounces back up. Newswriters are now starting to say that gold will double to $1,000 in 2006. The company has only mentioned that they are possibly zeroing in on gold and copper deposits on their property. In my experience with other stocks that have been going nowhere, but where there is a possibility of news, when they start surging upward, especially for more than one day, it can strongly mean that insiders have come upon a major finding. Sometimes within days, or sooner a major announcement is given out and the stock jumps up hundreds of percent in a matter of days. I was gone for most of the day, then saw the stocks' movement and put in a buy order above the bid/ask, put in a buy order at $1.35. I only got a fraction of it filled and the stock closed at $1.36 with a bid/ask of $1.36/$1.40 I will see how it is doing tomorrow and jump in with a new order. We have 3 times as much land as Northern Dynasty, and from what I have read, it is geologically similar. Northern Dynasty has found 26 million ounces of gold and 16 billion pounds of copper. Copper is well over $1/lb LBTS has 37 million shares outstanding, but a float of only 4 million shares according to one site I found. But lets say that there are 37 million shares available because management etc may want to sell as the price moves up. Since Northern Dynasty has 26 million oz gold, it is not beyound possibility that we will end up with 37 million oz gold. And with 37 million shares, that would mean that each share was worth one oz of gold. Or $500/share, and that is not even taking into account the possible billions of pounds of copper. Woah, I must have done my math wrong somewhere, but to me it seems like $14/share should be an easy price to reach and that would be a 1,000% increase. Shoot, even $25/share would be cheap. So tomorrow I'm buying more. If anybody else has been sitting on the side lines, maybe you shoud jump off the fense and buy at least some shares tomorrow. The stock has been going nowhere to downward, it seems like forever, but now it is SHOOTING UPWARD. Maybe somebody knows something. This could be one of those situations that people stumble onto only a few times in their life. I'm in, finally.

there last 10q isn't very optimistic. they say there are still in the exploration stage, meaning they have found nothing yet. hard to imagine they would magically find millions of ounces of gold. and what is the total cost to actually extract one ounce? someone must know what the average is.

LBTS is also involved in uranium exploration, plus the preliminary evaluation of the gold/copper drilling/surface sampling should be reaching a conclusion right about now. Previous drilling had been refining where to test for gold and copper. This newest exploration was also supposed to be a refining process, but it could have had actual gold or copper intercepts. Or they may have found something on their uranium properties. Whatever is going on, the price is still climbing and so I bought 12,000 shares at $1.4235/share. If I'm wrong and it starts going back down again, I can get out at a small loss. But if they have actually had some gold/copper or even uranium intercepts then the price of the stock could be at the start of a long upmove. In which case I could make a lot more than I could potentially lose.
Liberty Star Appoints Dr. Karen Wenrich, World Renown Uranium Expert, to the Technical Advisory Board

TUCSON, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2005--Liberty Star Gold Corp (the "Company"), (OTCBB:LBTS - News) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Karen Wenrich to the Company Technical Advisory Board. Dr. Wenrich will also act as a full-time consultant to the Company, with her primary focus on its exploration for uranium in the North Pipes Project area, where the highest-grade uranium in the United States has been mined.

Last year assays took about one month from the time of collection until the results were available. This year, the turnaround appears to be at least a month and a half. As a result, it will take some time before all the results are received, tabulated, plotted and interpreted. The company hopes that this will be completed by the end of November. There is a planned exploration meeting from Dec. 5 through Dec. 9 comprised of company geologists and the Technical Advisory Board to review the data and interpret the results of this summer's work and make recommendations and plans for the 2006 season. It is possible that additional work will be required after the first meeting. After the process is complete, a news release will present that information.

Also, this morning, gold is at $515 and edging higher. Uranium is also strong.
