I'm sure a lot of people got burned on this one. I decided to just ride it out and see what happens. Recently, the company has stated they "may" file for bankruptcy protection; however, they just realeased new "low fares" in competitive markets. I think this is a good sign; although anticipating airline profits lately may be a little like giving $10.00 to your 8 year old for a candy bar and expecting change back. See http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/051011/dctu038.html?.v=25.
Here's the deal now, the bid price is at $0.24 and the ask is at $0.36. Can someone tell me the implications of that?
Seems to me one of two things will happen:
1) The company will file Bankruptcy and disappear; or 2) The company will be purchased by or merge with another low-cost airline.
Anyone else have thoughts on this one other than to use the stock as feeder for the fire this winter?

I agree, but I got stuck with it early on and now I'm just waiting it out - looks like I haven't much choice! Thanks for the info.
