BSNS WIRE) Viva's Subsidiary Receives DOT Approval
Viva's Subsidiary Receives DOT Approval

Business Editors / Transportation Writers

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 2005--
Viva International, Inc. (OTCBB: VIVI) announced today
that Eastern Caribbean Air Corporation (EC AIR), its wholly owned
subsidiary, has received DOT approval to operate.
In February 2005, Viva incorporated EC AIR and subsequently
acquired/merged with Cool Tours, Inc. d/b/a San Juan Aviation, a FAR
Part 135 Charter Air Carrier in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
To further Viva's Puerto Rican operation, EC AIR, after the
acquisition date, accelerated the process of filing the appropriate
documentation with the DOT for approval to fly under the name EC AIR.
The approval from the DOT allows EC AIR to begin operations
immediately as Cool Tours, Inc. d/b/a Eastern Caribbean Air using its
trade name EC AIR.
Pier Bjorklund, a project consultant for Viva stated, "Our primary
purpose for acquiring Cool Tours, Inc. was to be able to provide air
service for local Puerto Rican demands while obtaining a means of
offering operational support to our Dominican operations through Viva
Air Dominicana, S.A. The integration process, although an exhaustive
effort, is proceeding as planned. We feel that the Puerto Rican market
has the potential to be our largest source of passengers for traffic
to and from the Dominican Republic as well as for movement throughout
the Caribbean. While pleased with the DOT approval allowing charter
service under the EC AIR, we will continue our diligent efforts to
advance our ability and the value of our licensing and economic rights
by continuing our application to seek the ability to offer scheduled
charter operations."

COMPANY NEWS AND PRESS RELEASES FROM OTHER SOURCES:

Viva Nears Completion of Its Own Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program

MIAMI, Mar 31, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Viva International, Inc. (OTCBB: VIVI) announced today that it has nearly completed its own internal Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).
A CAMP Program is the set of processes certificate holders (air carrier operators) must use to keep their aircraft in an airworthy condition. The FAA requires operators to establish and maintain two separate, but equal, functions within their CAMP -- one for required maintenance actions and the other for required maintenance inspections. Frequently carriers choose to outsource the CAMP program function.

The CAMP program is a compilation of the individual maintenance and inspection functions utilized by an operator to fulfill its total maintenance needs. Authorization to use CAMP programs is documented by Operations Specifications - Aircraft Maintenance, approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, for each user as provided for by FAR 121.25, 121.45, 127.13 and 135.11. These specifications prescribe the scope of the program, including limitations, and they reference manuals and other technical data as supplements to-these specifications.

Following are the basic elements of CAMP programs:

-- Aircraft Inspection

-- Scheduled Maintenance

-- Unscheduled Maintenance

-- Engine, Propeller, and Appliance Repair and Overhaul

-- Structural Inspection Program Airframe Overhaul

-- Required Inspection Items

-- Maintenance Manuals

"The CAMP program is not only a FAA requirement, but vital to an air carrier's operation to maintain its aircraft and to promote safety," stated Pier S. Bjorklund, special projects consultant to Viva International. "The development of our own CAMP program could generate cost savings in excess of $1 million annually based upon our business plan implementation of a fleet of 10 aircraft. When you consider that we are developing multiple subsidiary operating aviation entities, the total cost savings could magnify exponentially. Further, our Company and its subsidiaries have emphasized safety as one of its primary benchmarks. Certainly, this commitment to the development of our own Camp program is indicative of our highest regard for safety in our operations. The efforts of Rudy Dominguez and staffers in developing the CAMP program have been outstanding and should be applauded. In our opinion, the Company has created a valuable asset that should benefit our various operations for years to come."

Viva spent the past 4 months working with Southwest Aero Structures and other consultants to develop it own internal CAMP program. The CAMP program is anticipated to be completed within the next 2 weeks and will then await final approval by the FAA.

Hey Striper, doesn't seem like anyone's taking note of this thread and that's okay.

VIVI is a sleeper. So was CNES until it popped through .01.

Viva Subsidiary Obtains Operational Permit Approval from UK Department for Transport
Wednesday April 6, 4:24 pm ET

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 2005--Viva International, Inc. (OTCBB: VIVI - News) announced today that Eastern Caribbean Air Corporation (EC AIR), its wholly owned subsidiary, has obtained a permit granting the Company inter-island flight approval to operate.

Cool Tours, Inc. d/b/a EC AIR was granted a UK territory permit (2005 summer season # IASD1/S2004/63) today from the Department for Transport, London, England providing the authority to operate air charters from points in US territories to points in the British Virgin Island territories including Anguilla and Turks and Caicos.

According to the www.dft.gov.uk website, "the Department for Transport's objective is to oversee the delivery of a reliable, safe and secure transport system that responds efficiently to the needs of individuals and business whilst safeguarding our environment. Aviation is a major UK industry, carrying over 180 million passengers a year and over 2.1 million tons of freight. Demand for air travel is growing. The Government's aim is to develop a long-term framework that will maximize the beneficial aspects of aviation and minimize the negative ones."

Pier Bjorklund, a project consultant for Viva, stated, "This permit authorizes us to conduct flights in UK territory islands that have demonstrated demand for travel services but yet do not have an overabundant number of carriers competing for this business. Obviously, we are delighted to be granted this authority and will certainly look to establish ourselves as a principal carrier to these properties. The correlation to our existing route plan structure that this opportunity presents is excellent."

As recently announced, EC AIR, VIVA's Puerto Rican subsidiary aviation operation, received approval from the Department of Transportation (DOT) to operate immediately as Cool Tours, Inc. d/b/a Eastern Caribbean Air using its trade name EC AIR.
