The police department in the City of Chicago has decided to issue no additional Tasers in their jurisdiction according to a report I watched on NBC's Friday nightly news; in light of two more deaths within only the space of days related to Taser use by police in the Chicago metro area. If it can proven that the UGHO line of products are without such significant risks; it should help to propel UGHO to start to eat significantly into Taser market share. There was a report on NBC news about Taser concerns and one of the industry 'experts' implied that he expects increased scrutiny on these Taser-related deaths which could ultimately lead to serious legal action and of course great uncertainty for Taser.
