Statmon Technologies Corp. (OTCBB:STCA) announced today that it had shipped its first order of its EIF-32 embedded interface unit to Harris Corporation. The EIF-32 is an intelligent, "standalone" remote control and monitoring interface with a built-in CPU, providing automated monitoring and control of remote equipment and sites. Using the 1 RU EIF-32 it is now possible to remotely control devices and equipment situated out in the field, retrieve critical data and make adjustments without actually visiting the site.

Paired with Statmon's "Neuro" application software, the embedded software engine and database, the EIF-32 provides real-time monitoring, control, alarm notification, and logging in a user-friendly, integrated solution. With a built-in CPU, temperature, humidity and voltage sensors and user assignable channels, the EIF-32 can be connected to multiple devices. Neuro Web, a free software utility program provided with the EIF-32, allows users to connect to remote sites via the Internet to monitor and control devices connected to the EIF-32.

"The EIF-32 is a new and exciting product and is expected to have wide appeal in the worldwide radio, low power television, and repeater and translator markets," said Geoffrey Talbot, the CEO of Statmon Technologies.

"Harris is pleased to extend its remote control solutions with the new Statmon EIF-32 embedded interface unit. With this product, our ReCon remote control solutions can be extended to transmitter sites requiring simpler and lower cost site management solutions," said Mr. Dale B. Mowry, Vice President/General Manager, Television Broadcast Systems, Harris Broadcast Communications.
