COMPANIES TYPICALLY GIVE A PR AS CLOSE TO OR ON THE SAME DAY AS THE AIRING OF ADS/COMMERCIAL, THIS WAY THE PUBLIC IS ROUNDLY INFORMED ABOUT THE PRODUCT. THE 27TH IS A GUESTIMATE, BUT IF NOT THEN IT WILL MOST LIKELY BE THE DAY BEFORE OR VERY SOON AFTER. PR'S CHANGE FREQUENTLY BUT I'M WILLING TO BET THAT A LAUNCH OF THE WEBSITE, COMMERIALS AND A PR WILL ALL BE CONCURRENT AND IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THIS IS SOMEWHAT SPECULATIVE, BUT MOSTLY HISTORICALLY SWAYED. IF THE BOYS ABOVE HAVE THEIR SH*T TOGETHER THEN WE WILL SEE GOOD THINGS IN A 1-2 AND HOPEFULLY A 3 PUNCH.
HAPPY TRADING....HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!

The commercial starts on the 27th. shouln't be the new site up already then? How can you run TV ads without having your website already running?

The "official" website is supposed to be functional on the 27th, the same date of the commercials.

I'm thinking that once it's officially "open for business" that I won't have to bounce between this forum and the "under $0.10" forum, if ya know whatta mean.

I'm also very interested to see if both games and DVDs are going to be available on the new site.

The short mm's are having to cover before the news really hits and then they would have their backs up against the wall on April 1st......so it looks like they are covering and the price has to go up. NITE seems to be a major player on the bull side for GZFX.....IMHO..KC Glidt...

Young Grasshopper..LoL..there are stocks out there that have run from pennyland to $90 or better in a few months just on hype alone. An old saying goes.."buy on rumors, sell on news" This stock is surging on the anticipation. In this case, the good news will send us up, up, and away..IMO I will be holding this one and WNMI, MDDM did not pay off my mortgage ;-)

I've got 2 people to sign up so far . . .

duplicate from under .1 board:

hypothetically, at $3.00, games and flix would be valued at 1.5 billion give or take.
sirius is valued near 4 billion

sirius has 30000 customers

wouldn't that make netflix worth $2 now if based on the same criteria, hypothetically - and if netflix has 30000 shares in 3 months, what would could the price be then if the stocks catches the eyes of sirius and serious investors - $6? and Dude, that guy will annoy you enough to get you to the site - and netflix has who?

I am not trying to say that GZFX will go through the roof any time soon- I am personally vested in this one for the long term, and am more interested in seeing the quarterly earnings reports than the short-term day-to-day pps. I just want to make everyone who follows GZFX aware of a few significant factors regarding the video rental market sector in general.
To date, Netflix has only penetrated about 4.5% of the video rental market: even so, their Q4 ‘03 revenue was 80% higher over the same quarter the previous year, and their subscription rate was up 74%over the same quarter of the previous year.
Netflix has only been running a television ad campaign since Q4 ‘03- and I personally have yet to see any of their commercials. The Dell dude has broad recognition due to his former employment with Dell: people remember the Dell Dude.
Since Q4 ‘03, Netflix has been generating about 120,000 new subscribers per month. In fact, this number has consistently accelerated as each month has gone by.
Some people say ‘You can order movies through pay-per-view’, but they fail to realize the limited title offers involved with pay-per-view
Some people say ‘But Wal-Mart and Blockbuster are also looking to get into this market as well’: that is true, but that in itself only goes to show that this is a very lucrative area, and that even with the existence of NFLX, it is by no means saturated with vendors. Regarding Wal-Marrt‘s interest, it is also true that Albertsons rents videos out as well, yet in the heyday of Blockbuster, Albertsons never made a dent in Blockbuster’s numbers or client base. Blockbuster is another story in itself, which follows at the end..
Hollywood Video announced Monday that it is going private, citing poor market conditions In fact, in the update put out by CBSMarketwatch on Monday, http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quotes/default.asp?rand=6482
they even cite Netflix as a main contributing factor to Hollywood’s stock price downturn:
“Video store chains are typically strong cash generators, making them attractive to buyout firms like Leonard Green.
But they have come under increasing pressure from larger retailers like Best Buy and Wal-Mart and new subscription services like Netflix . As a result, Hollywood and other video chains have seen revenue growth slow in recent quarters.
Shares of Blockbuster, which has more than 8,000 stores, have been stung by the same dynamics afflicting Hollywood's stock and are down nearly 20 percent since last October“.
Here is another significant quote from CBSMarketwatch: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quotes/default.asp?rand=4815
“Hollywood Entertainment, like other companies in its once-booming industry, has lately been facing uncertain prospects. Consumers, who flocked to Hollywood Entertainment in the first place because of the convenience factor, increasingly prefer such higher-tech services as video-on-demand.
Consumers have demonstrated that they are willing to pay higher prices for greater convenience, and it seems likely that the trend is not going to be in favor of brick-and-mortar chains like Hollywood Entertainment and Blockbuster”.
As for Blockbuster;
“The future of Blockbuster, a unit of Viacom , is in doubt. Viacom Chairman Sumner Redstone made it clear that the company had lost its luster when he said last year during an investment conference in New York that Blockbuster was no longer regarded as a core asset for the entertainment giant.
Hollywood Entertainment hit a one-year low of $10.50 last Wednesday. In January, the company had warned shareholders that its 2004 net income could come in below 2003's adjusted earnings of $1.40 a share.
Jon Friedman is media editor for CBS.MarketWatch.com in New York”.
Netflix soared Monday on this news, which is a verification of a lucrative trend towards online video rentals..

Netflix Holds Analyst Day and Updates FY04 Guidance
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2004 5:34 PM
- PR Newswire
LOS GATOS, Calif., Feb 26, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Netflix, Inc. today at its analyst day, announced that it expects to reach $1B in revenue and 5 M subscribers by 2006. The Company also updated guidance for its current fiscal year 2004.
"We are pleased with the rapid rate of consumer adoption of the Netflix service," said Reed Hastings, CEO and Founder. "Most meaningful is the strength and sustainability of core metrics from acquisition cost to retention."
The Company said it expects to accelerate profitability through 2006, as a result of its faster growth, although faster growth will pressure short term margins.
Full Year 2004
-- Ending subscribers of 2.4 million - 2.7 million
-- Revenue of $480 to $505 million
-- GAAP net income of $4 to $10 million
-- Gross margin of 43 to 45 percent
-- SAC of $34 to $36
-- Churn of 4.3 to 5.1 percent...
I am not citing NFLX’s numbers in an attempt to claim GZFX will be as profitable any time soon- I just want to show people what the possible long-term rewards are regarding GZFX if they do things right, which is what they seem to be doing so far. It may take half a decade to even get close to NFLX- but 5 years sustained growth and profitability would put this stock through the roof, and leave a lot of people kicking themselves for selling it off at .15/.20/.30/.50...There is enough room in this sector for both NFLX and GZFX to both do very well for a long, long time- all NFLX does in my eyes, is prove the possible long-term rewards outweigh the inherent risk involved in any penny stock.

It's Game Time Dude!
3/30/2004 5:00:00 AM

BOCA RATON, Fla., Mar 30, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Hey dude, remember the cool kid who made millions of youngsters across America happy with Dell? Well, he's making a comeback as a spokesperson for GameznFlix, which he will introduce Wednesday, March 31, at a news conference at the new BONG restaurant thanks to the efforts of AdSouth, a leading direct response advertising and marketing agency.
Actor Ben Curtis, is coming back cool as ever pitching GameznFlix.com, a growing online DVD and video game rental company.
"We pulled off a major coup by aligning this young star who we feel is a charismatic and energetic spokesperson for the perfect product," says John Cammarano, AdSouth's President.
"Video games are the wave of my generation. I am proud to represent the latest and greatest innovation. I can't wait to show kids what's in store for them at GamesnFlix," says Curtis. Television commercials celebrating Curtis's new image are scheduled to start airing at the end of May.
GameznFlix Inc. ("/tools/quotes/quotes.asp?symb=GZFX&siteid=mktw") , a Nevada Corporation is a company that offers both DVD movies and video game rentals on the Internet with access to over 28,000 games and movie titles. At $18.50 a month subscribers can rent a combination of both DVD movies and or games with no late fees or due dates. For more information log onto "http://www.gameznflix.com"

Just got in on GZFX, recently. I like their aggressive move with this advertising campaign. The price went as high as $.25 this AM, but quickly dropped back. Maybe some people got the jitters over whether the investment in the advertising would pay off. Anyone have another idea?

I'm showing a high for the day, .18, (however that difference being irrelavent) I like the fact, that we reached a new high for the day, we are definately trending up, profit takers will always show up, to bring it down, not to worry.

You are both right- I'm showing a high for the day @.18, but my chart also shows a spike to .25- someone must have pushed the wrong key and ended up buying at .25 instead of .15 by mistake. It's very nice to see new 52 highs every day, and I wouldn't sell this if it was at .25 legitimately- some day before too long, people will probably be buying this one at dips to .25- and they will be happy to have gotten in so cheap.
