NOVM Novamex USA .63 and ONLY 10.5 Million shares. Had base around .25, in Sept shot up to .98 then drifted down and has been in the .4-.6 range, now up to .63 As I write this, the TV is blaring out about a case of Mad Cow Disease showing up today. NOVM has acquired the WORLD WIDE PATENT on a prion test for MAD COW DISEASE. The disease is produced by prions, tiny protein molecules that produce diseases that attack the brain tissue, including mad cow disease. the disease is produced by eating infected meat.
One thing that I have not seen any newspaper or magazine mention, is that some of the natives of Borneo that would eat the brains of dead relatives as part of their burial rites had a large percentage of the population dying from human spongiform encephalopathy, the human form of mad cow disease. And now that I snuck that into this discussion, I can say that it is relevent because NOVM is developing a test that can be done on living people to see if they have the disease. But besides that, they already have a test that CAN BE USED NOW to test living cattle on site for Mad Cow Disease and
they are the only company with such a test.
Their stock looks like has broken out of its base and so now might be a good time to buy it. So grab the bull by the horn (as long as it doesn't have mad cow disease) and go for it.

I tried to buy the stock this morning with my Scottrade account, since I had some spare money in it, but they wouldn't allow me to but it because they don't keep bid/asks on it

I called them today. Mostly speak French up there. They do have a Madcow test. They have run one trial test and are now doing the second one. They gave me the # to someone else. Richard Diotte 418-527-3362. He is going to call me back.

Accoding to the newpaper, the Red Cross does
not accept blood donations from people that have been to countries that have had a mad cow disease incident, such as England. But now we have had an incident. Of course, they could say that it was just an isolated incident and that the cow came from Canada. But that might not go over too well with the public or government officials. So it seems to me that they are going to have to start testing blood for mad cow disease, and if they choose Novamex's test, then the stock could REALLY TAKE OFF. In fact, it has already started climbing. Closed Friday at .79 (56 Ford, I hope that you were able to
buy some at .70 or .71)

Talked to Richard on monday. He said they they will be ready to turn their test over to the Canada AG department for testing in march. They want to start there then the USDA will be next.
I got back in @.75 a little, Of course it went down. I most likely will start accummalating this at any thing under the .75

Star I just found this at Pinksheets.com. I take it that they got the $5 mil and the stocks really have to go about $1.00 before he really makes money. #2 the inventors are covering the pattins ownership. What are your thoughts.

I first looked at this stock early last year
when we had the SARS scare. Their stock has
been STEADLY CLIMBING, but I never invested in it because I haven't quite uderstood what they do. It is true that they investigate disease processes and come up with ways to fight different types of diseases, but I'm not sure if they make their own drugs. From what I can see, they reccommend ACE inhibitors to fight disease such as SARS and they say what type and quantity to use, but other companies make and sell ACE inhibitors,
so I am not sure how they would make money on
their insights, however, their stock is low priced and has been steadly climbing, so it may be a very good buy.
