With the president to speak tonite and the threat of terrorism ever present in our society and the recent pop of security type stocks such as DYTK and many others what is the next sector that should garner this type of interest?

Is it bioterrorism? Does anyone have any interesting stock plays they are watching with regards to what the president could say tonite?

One thing that concerns me is that the threat of terrorism is a realistic threat because we saw in an election year in Spain how terrorists influenced the elections with a terrorist attack just a month ago...the incumbent lost to a socialist who ran on the campaign that he would pull Spanish troops from Iraq...however now that he has been elected he has said he is going to leave troops currently in Iraq.

Seeing how the terrorists can influence a future election it makes the threat of terrorism on our shore during this election year a very serious threat IMO....becuase they might think they can influence our elections here in November.

One stock I'm currently watching that seems oversold at it's current level is DOR. They are a bioterrorism play and if Bush speaks tonite and focuses on bioterrorism this stock could pop in a big way tomorrow in the market especially since late today there was a arrest in Seattle, Washington of a man discovered with the toxin RICIN....to which there is no cure. DOR is currently working on a RICIN antibody.

Here's the story from Seattle. http://quote.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=a6O11IbtiC98&refer=us

Any thoughts on other plays?

Cheers

I would look towards, companies that are going to be developing alternative energy, things like fuel cells. I also like bio companies, but if anything I feel that his speech will not impact anything long term. but I am a newbie, and that is just IMHO.
best of luck to you....
