I'm having this stock for the past 1 month. the trading ranges from 1.14 -> 1.20. Not sure whether this stock is suitable for swing trading or not. It's definitely long term stock and very stable.
Any comments ?

You are absolutely correct. I would buy at 1.14 and hold to sell at 1.25, and it might take weeks to hit 1.25. It's narrow trading range makes it less attractive for swing trades. Now, good news could make it pop to 1.35 or more, but who can say when this will happen.

I may be the lone caller in the desert, but I still have problems with FONR. So far it hasn't managed to break the trendline that goes all the way back to August.
I know we're waiting for just that break to happen, but at this point the chart has clearly retraced more than 62% of its initial rise since April last year (from 0.9 to 2.0), so it may just as well drop back to where it came from. I would keep a very tight stop at 1.1.

This stock finally seems to have turned bullish....all my indicators show it moving $1.50ish in the coming days. Love their StandUp MRI technology.

This stock looks very strong to me right now....could see a breakout in the days ahead if it can maintain this momentum. Any positive news could send this over $2.00.

I am not to sure about this. The same thing happened in early December where there was high volume like today but it couldnt be maintained. May take a few days to get it going.

This time may be different because the price managed to push above pretty much all major MAs (20, 50, and 200), the 62% Fib, as well as the down-trendline from last summer. Next major resistance is at 1.45 - 1.5.
Volume has been receding over the past 2 days, and who knows if this will be just another small bump or a retracement with more to come. IMHO, it'll be important that the price holds its ground above 1.23 - 1.25 (MA50s).

wasn't at my computer much today - still holding - but we're at a price where I may take the loss and get out, or buy some more when it stops going down.

It's a stock I'm holding for a bit here. Their earning are coming due and they should be very positive this qtr and possibly give us a good indicator that the company will be profitable this year. Should provide a big boost to the stock price IMO. Posts: 315 | From: New York, USA | Registered: May 2003

SOME THINGS THAT BOTHER ME WITH FONR ARE:
100 0/S 11 YEARS IN BUSINESS NO PROFIT AS OF YET THEY NEED TO SALES LOTS OF MRI TO BREAK EVEN(IMO)
THIS STOCK IS NOT GOOD FOR SWING TRADING (IMO)
I HOPE IT GOES UP HIGHER.
THE THING I HATED MOST IS THAT IN 11 YEARS IN BUSINESS, THE COMPANY HASN'T DONE ANYTHING GOOD FOR THE SHAREHOLDERS. THAT THING JUST BOTHER ME THE MOST. JUST SALES AND SALES BUT NO PROFIT. (NO INCREASE SHAREHOLDERS)
WISH YOU GUYS ALL GOOD LUCK WITH FONR.

I wanted to bump this thread to inform you that FONR has sold 6 StandUp MRI's in 2 weeks time. Each unit sells for $1.5MM x 6 Units = $9MM in sales in 2 weeks. The StandUP MRI is finally getting some well deserved attention and FONR looks like it's being accumulated here @ $1.38 er so. Earning due soon should be very positive this one looks like it's ripe for the pickins....let's hope Posts: 315 | From: New York, USA | Registered: May 2003
