DENVER CO — November 8, 2010: MusclePharm® Corporation (OTCBB:MSLP), one of the fastest growing nutritional supplement companies in the United States, today announced that it will enter into a multi-year clinical research program with the University of Oklahoma to study the effects of all MusclePharm products currently available.
The multi-year research program will clinically test the full line of MusclePharm products to further explore their positive effects on athletes’ physical performance. Each and every product sold by MusclePharm is the end result of a long development process involving leading nutritional scientists, researchers and some of the top professional athletes in the country.
“We remain committed to comprehensive research and development in order to produce the highest quality, clinically proven nutritional supplements for athletes at every performance level,” commented Brad Pyatt, MusclePharm’s Chief Executive Officer. “In the competitive health and wellness industry, we believe that the efficacy of MusclePharm’s products will continue to meet the needs of athletes seeking additional accountability and lead our brand’s long-term success and profitability.”
All MusclePharm products are checked against nationally and internationally published lists to ensure that no banned substances are included, Pyatt said. In addition, all production runs are conducted in a state-of-the-art facility that follows government-approved Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), he noted. Before being made available to the public, all products are analytically verified for purity and verified for label claim accuracy to ensure that the information we put on the label is 100% accurate, Pyatt said. Following testing, reference samples are kept so that we can hold our products to the highest quality assurance standards, he said.
