What are your picks for monday? Are you all staying in financials or swinging into different areas. Everything being down makes it hard to choose..With AIG NCC WAMUQ WB GM F and almost everything being back down I dont have cash to be in all of them.I will be keeping an eye on NCC WAMUQ WB GM and trying to get into a few of them at lows on monday ,but still have to hold for funds to settle on tues and weds because of last week trades...And the extra day they added because banks will be closed on monday..

So many. I'm thinking GM, may go down some more? I;, in for a possible long term. I still have an emotional tie to CC circuit city even if it keeps going down.
RUSL will do very good tomorrow. Maybe for the week. sell when it's high, it will tank until mid next year.. then another run. Don't spend all your money in one place when you make it big.

I dont have a margin acc and have been doing three to four trades a week if I hold overnight , and Scotrade wont let you trade with unsettled funds UNLESS you hold until settle date , and I dont want to hold for 3 days if it starts falling..And have been trading all cash in account over the last few weeks, at least I am up a little more this week so I will be able to split a few trades up and try to keep some settled cash...

Well right now I dont have enough money in the account for a margin acc. scottrade needs 2k for margin acc..Almost there now though...

Well I ended up with AIG * $2.30 and F * $2.43 kept trying to get in NCC but never hit my target THEN at the last dip I tried and ran in the dreaded NOT ENOUGH CLEAR FUNDS to trade...ARRRRG, Some cleared this morning so I might try to get in a dip after mid morning run... AIG & F Gapping ths morning.. AIG 2.96 x 2.98 F 2.66 x 2.69 Good luck all

I tried to get RUSL but got caught not wanting to chase at .0005 and stopped,,, BAD MISTAKE,,Wonder if it will keep running up today because I am sure it was noticed yesterday with the huge increase in gains and volume so it hit a lot of peoples charts.. Great pick Rockster..

Im sorry Rockster I deleted that post , my scottrade quick quote chart was showing 1.40 when I posted that some one there had a fat finger moment this morning there I guess.OH did you notice the .01 fat finger yesterday on RUSL in the afternoon..Bet a lot of people crapped their drawers if they saw that on their account..

Don't worry about it. It was a great opportunity, yet you did the usual right thing by not chasing. You have a good head on your shoulders. I was just trying to get you up a little cause I like you.
I will be focusing on index options from now on mostly. This market will recover, so all you need is a longer term option that will follow the market up. See my list of posts there is a few in there, becareful though you could lose.
Don't let the fees eat you up with too many trades if you have a smaller account.

Thanks Rockster , yea I know about the fees last week I signed a friend up and we both got 7 free trades so that helped a little this week with being able to get out a little quicker..I am trying to get better at trading because when I started a few years back I did mostley pinks and got burned lost out so I have not looked at my account for 6 months or more ,, Then decided to sell what little crap I had in my account and try to recoup funds in this crazy market BUT have made the decisiion to try and learn to be more patient and do a LOT of research , and like the tech market of the 70s now is the time for me to learn how to make gains not losses..And I have been looking at doing options , trying to learn more about how they work but need to get my account up to margin status so I can trade them, there are a lot of good videos on options on youtube that I have been checking out,,,, WOW WAAAYYYY TOO MUCH COFFEE THIS MORNING...sorry long post..
