Omni Manager Helps Improve Employee Productivity for Spirit's Call Center Operations

NASHUA, NH--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 27, 2008 -- QED Connect, Inc., (Other OTC:QEDC.PK - News) an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced that New Jersey-based Spirit Delivery and Distribution Services, Inc., a leading provider of warehousing and delivery services for top U.S. retailers, has chosen its flagship Omni Manager for Internet visibility, management and control. Spirit represents the growing trend of businesses that are choosing hosted technology services over traditional software packages for ease of use, cost savings and reduced administrative responsibilities.

"We had employees challenge using the Internet for non-work related purposes during business hours, and we had no way to control or monitor the web sites being visited," said Jen D'Almeida, Call Center Manager for Spirit Delivery and Distribution Services. "As a call center operation, it's important to get through the highest volume of calls per day as possible. After implementing Omni Manager, we've noticed that our customers are experiencing shorter wait times due to the fact that employees are no longer distracted by the Internet. Using the reporting logs, we can also see what sites they're visiting and attempts to visit blocked sites. One of Omni Manager's biggest benefits is that it's really easy to use and set up. Technology can be complicated, but Omni Manager is very simple and does its job well. It's also a great value for the price."

QED Connect Announces New Customer International Industries, Inc.

Omni Manager Improves VoIP Quality of Service

NASHUA, NH--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 11, 2008 -- QED Connect Inc. (Other OTC:QEDC.PK - News), an innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced that West Virginia-based International Industries, Inc. has chosen its flagship Omni Manager for Internet visibility, management and control. International Industries is a diversified group of companies that includes natural resources, manufacturing, hotels and real estate among its businesses. Omni Manager was implemented within the company's Coal and Lumber Division in support of its voice over IP (VoIP) initiative, as well as to provide tools for monitoring Internet usage and enforcing computer use policies.

"We were in the process of rolling out VoIP technology over a shared Internet connection and found that for some reason, the voice quality was not consistently as good as we needed," said Dan Logan, IT Manager, International Industries, Inc. "After implementing Omni Manager, we were able to trace the source of our loss of voice quality to several network users that at times were making extensive use of Internet radio or downloading videos and music to their networked computers. With Omni Manager, we were able to selectively block users from these sites and our voice quality has improved dramatically. We can also plan our network growth and resources more accurately with the visibility we've gained into computer usage."

QED Connect Provides the Washington DC Examiner With a Powerful Internet Policy Management Solution
Wednesday March 19, 10:00 am ET

Leading Newspaper Leverages Omni Manager for Increased Business Productivity and Computer Security

NASHUA, NH--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 19, 2008 -- QED Connect, Inc. (Other OTC:QEDC.PK - News), an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced that the Washington DC Examiner, a leading daily newspaper and part of The Examiner group of publications, is utilizing its flagship Omni Manager product for Internet visibility, management and control. ADVERTISEMENT
"We have been very impressed with Omni Manager's capabilities," said Mark Rendle, director of IT operations for the Examiner. "It has enabled us to centrally create, manage and enforce organizational security and use policies for our PCs from one web-based console. Omni Manager has increased business productivity by reducing the amount of time people spend surfing non-work related Internet sites such as shopping or music, which is a critical issue for any business. An innovative feature also enables us to keep track of any unauthorized software applications being downloaded onto the computers, which is both a productivity and security concern."

In other news, QED Connect is continuing to gain traction in the small to medium-sized (SMB) business market with recently announced new customers in the manufacturing, distribution, healthcare and education sectors. The Company is realizing revenue growth, with an expected 50% increase this quarter over 4th quarter of 2007.

QED Connect Links with MessageLabs to Offer Hosted Messaging Security Solution to Customers
Monday 03/24/2008 10:37 PM ET - M2 - 10 Meters

QED Connect, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, announced a partnership with MessageLabs, a supplier of integrated messaging and web security services to businesses worldwide, to offer MessageLabs hosted e-mail filtering services in the United States.

The addition of MessageLabs E-mail Content Control Services is an ideal complement to Omni Manager, QED's flagship SaaS comprising Internet security, instant messaging management, and asset tracking. This technology combination provides businesses with significant benefits in the areas of employee productivity gains, reductions in legal liabilities and regulatory compliance.

"We are thrilled to partner with the acknowledged worldwide leader in hosted messaging security," said Tom Makmann, Chairman of QED Connect. "By introducing these proven, trusted services from MessageLabs, we are providing additional value to our customers -- businesses that must effectively control and manage e-mail 24x7 for productivity, security and compliance mandates such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. In addition to the network visibility, management and control provided by Omni Manager, customers can now rely on MessageLabs E-Mail Content Control Service for powerful protection against inappropriate, unauthorized and unsolicited e-mails."

"MessageLabs is pleased to team with QED Connect to offer world class SaaS solutions to businesses worldwide," said Chris Mooney, Vice President, North America and Global Channels. "A trusted provider of services for monitoring, reporting and management of employee Internet use, QED Connect's services complement the MessageLabs security offerings to offer a more robust business solution for protecting organizations from all messaging and web security threats."

MessageLabs was recently recognized as the worldwide leader in the hosted messaging security market by leading industry analyst IDC, as highlighted in IDC's 2007 Worldwide Messaging Security Report. The report identified Message Labs as a clear market leader in the messaging security hosted services market with 31.7 percent market share, compared to the nearest competitor at 20.1 percent, with revenues fast approaching Symantec, Trend Micro and McAfee. Message Labs is ranked fourth overall across the worldwide messaging security market out of a total of 40 of the main software, appliance and hosted security services vendors listed.

IDC estimates that the messaging security market will more than double from $2 billion in 2006 to $4.8 billion in 2011. Among the components of the market -- software, appliance and hosted services -- IDC predicts hosted services will be the fastest growing, underlining the benefits and mainstream acceptance of security-as-a-service.
