I freakin sold out around 24.

Up almost 8bucks as I see it right now.

The news:

Sprint, Clearwire take it to the WiMax

Earlier this week, Tech Confidential wondered if Sprint Nextel Inc. and Clearwire Corp. might be better off holding hands in trying to build a WiMax network. Guess so. Thursday they said they would join forces to build out a nationwide WiMax network, swapping spectrum where it makes sense.

WiMax is a wireless data transmission standard that moves data over distances up to 30 miles. It will serve as the platform for Sprint's fourth-generation network, which is expected to cost a measly $3 billion. The service could appear in cities as early as year's end, giving Sprint and Clearwire a two-year edge on competitors, whose 4G networks are still in development.

One little problem. Sprint shareholders don't see the value in spending $3 billion on WiMax, even if it does give the company that vaunted first-mover advantage on 4G. Shareholders had pushed for Sprint to offload the risk building out WiMax through a spinout, partnership or possibly even through private equity investment. Sprint's decision to partner with Clearwire may please investors, but some in the tech world argue that they're sacrificing upside should WiMax succeed as hoped.

Keep an eye on this stock, its dipping into buy territory.

The tiny chip that’s reshaping the map…

Just as the printing press, airplane, Internet and cell phone shrunk the world - so too will this 1/16 inch thick – inch round computer chip.

Within the next 2 years it will be standard on every computer coming off the assembly line (It’s already beginning to happen).
