i'm not an accountant and i admit that i'm struggling to fully understand the "derivative liability" stuff. basically they did well last Q except for a big charge due to this DL stuff, from the PR:
"The derivative liability was incurred as a result of the August 24, 2006 sale of series A preferred stock and warrants. Under generally accepted accounting principles, because Tricell does not have sufficient shares of common stock to cover its obligations under the warrants, it is required to treat the warrants as a liability instead of as equity. The effect of the unrealized loss in the nine months ended September 30, 2006, is partially offset by a $3.6 million gain resulting from the write off of liabilities of subsidiaries that were liquidated in a procedure in the United Kingdom which is comparable to a Chapter 7 liquidation in the United States."
this is why i'm only taking a small stake in TCLL: i don't pretend to fully comprehend all angles of this. i could do more research now, but - it's friday afternoon, been a long week at work, and i just poured myself a crangrape spiked with vodka (battling a cold, so i figured the crangrape might help, not sure about the vodka though, heh). actually it's mighty tasty

probably for the best that you sold, has been an ugly week for TCLL! personally i do better on long-term holds than quick flips - many OTC stocks have held and been posting about for literally years here. no doubt, i'm an oddity as far as OTC traders go, heh

Wrong thread for a question like that..BUT when you say ADVERTIZING? Do you mean a "spam" email? usually it isn't a good sign for stocks to send those out...a stock will usually rise quickly and fall faster with things like that... BUT I know nothing about those stocks....

still 600mm a/s and no changes filed with Nevada. Hard to say what the truth is with these guys anymore imo. Got a little boost in Dec. then down she went.
