no clue...but I like it...when it drops like that and then insiders buy up a whole hell of a lot! Check out the Form 4's filed....insiders are not acquiring...but purchasing a lot of shares!

Looks like the CEO in the past few days has bought around $1.2 million worth of common stock.

radar on,... looks like it's around it's bottom (shorter candle stick gives that away)...

Repo has T/A not proved itself yet for you?.. [Big Grin]

-I mean when someone actually can "read" WTH is going on ~

I would like to see the C MONEY Flow turn around first before a buy, another shorter candle would be nice to, -in a perfect world [Smile]

-it is looking like a plane crash... -but does have that shorter candle going for it...

But like I said, Radar is ON!! [Big Grin]

These are the best kind of plays. Same thing happened with NTRZ. Insiders bought a bunch at $1.20, then major news, and bam, easy 100% gain in a few months.

Company is already profitable... and coming off the lows. There has to be something big coming in terms of news in the next few weeks.

Its funny.. the SEC regulates when insiders can SELL, but not when they can buy. THAT'S YOUR SIGNAL.

Yup, this seems like an easy 100% in my book.

Look at the volume the past few days... [Smile]

I don't know about 100%, but this is the play where the old adage "You need money to make money" comes in.

This has significant daily volume where you can throw $50K into it and not shake the PPS... plus, if you get even 50% return, $25K is nice.

I think I may just do that on a pullback.

Yes, that is usually how I make my money, longer term holds - 2-3 months (unless I discover the HOly Grail like FRPT). And for that time period, fundamentals like the ones mentioned above are everything.

But T/A still helps in timing your entry.

Fantastic!
Well, looks like the next money maker is lining up for us, outstanding!

A CEO putting that kind of money down...-gota like that ~

Q. Is there a restriction of the selling of shares bought when an insider buys???

not sure how the selling works, but it must be reported by a form 4 sell, and all the form 4's lately have been buys.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

No, but they can't sell just on a whim. They usually use Planned Sales so that they are not liable if bad news hits at the time of their sales.

http://www.secform4.com/what-is-insider-trading.htm

This says "Short-swing profits (profits realized in any period less than six months) by corporate insiders in their own corporation's stock are prohibited "

So I think I am correct about the 6 month thing, but again, someone let me know if I'm oversimplifying it.

I remember reading that 6 month thing a few months ago, can't even remember what I was looking for at the time, but the fact that I just found it on a site that I am pretty sure isn't the one I originally saw it on, I feel pretty confident about it.

One question I have though, and this will probably show my inexperience, is that before the big buys over the last few days the CEO only held 132,500 shares, and he got 100,000 on Oct 5. So before Oct 5th he had 32,500 shares. Isn't that REALLY low for a CEO? Especially as a % of 10million O/S?

Yes and no. Depends.. did he sell a lot before that? Is he new?

The bottom line is, he knows SOMETHING is up.

He had more but dumped some earlier in the year, then they did a 1:10 reverse split as far as I can tell.

I guess I always just thought that officers held a good portion of the stock. No big deal.

Bottom line is this...CEO just purchased about $1.2 million worth of stock from $3.20-$6 range.

He doesn't want to lose this money. Expect the stock price to appreciate. End of story.

Usually the case when dealing with pinks so those crooks can dilute on you.. but not in bigger companies.

Another question, microcaptrade shows no volume from Nov 12 - yesterday. If the CEO bought on the 4th, is it safe to assume that it's a problem with Microcaptrade?
