Not huge, but could be big. AdStar Inc. (ADST-Nasdaq) is conducting an investor conference call tomorrow (November 14) at 4:15 EST. They'll discuss their operating results for the third quarter, and for the first nine months of 2006. Here's a link to the actual news release, which came out last Thursday.

And I love the technical aspects of this stock. It has blasted through previous resistance at $1.36, and--from my readings of the charts anyway--there shouldn't be too much resistance above them until about $3.10 or so. I'm not saying it's headed there tomorrow, or even in the very near term, I'm simply saying that the technicals seem to indicate that's the next resistance point. Also, I like that this stock--though relatively thinly-traded--is a Nasdaq stock, and not some OTCBB stock. Gives at least a little bit more of a comfort level.

Has pulled back from the days highs, and bounced off the days lows, settling in at $1.50 or so. After a morning of heavy trading--relative to the average daily volume--the B/A is now at $1.49/1.52, and this might be a decent time to get in if you haven't already.

The conference call was great. I like these real market (read: not OTC) plays, as they're usually a lot safer, and they normally involve real companies, with real products. The executves (the call included the CEO, COO, and CFO) seemed very upbeat, and had good news to report across the board. One of the shareholders who asked a question actually made the comment that things had really improved dramatically in the last 90 days. The company also appears to be in negotiations with a major mobile phone company (for obvious reasons, they couldn't say who), and appear to be in preliminary phases of licensing out their technologies to some very large ISPs. All in all, it was an extremely encouraging call, and I think this thing may see $3 sooner rather than later.

Level II is now showing the bids lining up below, and the asks thinning out. No more really significant walls apparent as of now. NITE jumped in yesterday, apparently hoping to be able to manipulate the stock, as they're prone to do. They started with lowball $1.36 bids, and were dragged kicking and screaming up to a $1.46 bid, around 9:30 or so. They haven't bid in over two hours, as the other MMs have moved the bid up to $1.56 and $1.58 at various times, which I think is hilarious. I hate when MMs like Knight try to just manipulate a stock for their own benefit, instead of letting the market play out, and making money that way.

MLCO has set up a wall at $1.69, with an ask size of 57,300, but who really knows what that means? They might be playing a little poker with us. They could take down that wall themselves if they see the price potentially running right through that level and upwards. Trying to set an exit point for myself ...

Did you buy on my tip, or find it yourself? Either way, I hope you do well in it. I'm just hoping for a temporary pullback, so I can reload with all the profits I locked in. I think this one is ultimately destined for $2.50 or so, but I wanted to lock some good profits, just to be safe.

Glad someone was paying attention! I was really feeling like I was pretty much talking to myself, what with all the crowd seemingly enamored with that CSHD PoS stock.

Be careful with GNTA. It looks to me like it's found its bottom, but I've been wrong about finding the bottoms on stocks before. GNTA is approaching 0 on the MACD, and if it crosses, that would definitely be a breakout signal. Any idea why it dropped so dramatically earlier this year?

Looks like this one's stopping to "catch it's breath" a bit for now. I may not dive back into it at all, I'm not sure. I've found that once you've locked in a quick 5-day 15% profit on one momentum play, it's sometimes better to just leave that stock alone for awhile.
With that said, it this continues to trickle along for a few days, forming a bullish flag, I may get back in. It's still on my watch list, that's for sure.

I have a feeling that this one will "trade in range" a bit, forming higher lows, and pushing against 1.75 for a few days, before catching a run again. We'll see what happens. Good luck.

Nice work. I went from 1.49 to 1.70 on the first run. Some seller's regret that I left some profits on the table, but there's no looking back. What did you run it from? The 1.50s or the 1.40s?
Take a look at ANDS. I think I got in a BIT early on Friday at 4.40, but I feel like there's the same type of profits to be had there that there were on ADST. Something in the 15-20% range, especially from the current price of 4.34.
