DANBURY, Conn., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tasker Products Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: TKER) today announced that James Manfredonia, manager of listed trading for Bear Stearns, has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Manfredonia replaces Albert A. Canosa, who recently tendered his resignation as a member of Tasker's Board of Directors, on which he also served as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Replacing Mr. Canosa as Chairman of the Audit Committee will be William P. Miller, who joined Tasker's Board in May 2006. Mr. Miller is an attorney and a certified public accountant who spent several years on Wall Street as an investment banker and has served on the board of directors of several companies.
Mr. Manfredonia has 26-years of Wall Street experience, beginning his career at Lehman Brothers in 1980. In 1983, he joined Salomon Brothers where he became a senior trader and participated in the introduction of program trading. Mr. Manfredonia also served as senior position trader for Drexel Burnham, and was the founding general partner of Blair Manfredonia Limited Partners, a hedge fund/broker dealer. Mr. Manfredonia spent 10 notable years at Merrill Lynch where he managed the listed trading desk with additional responsibilities for NASDAQ, portfolio trading, sales trading and NYSE staff, supervising 125 people generating revenues in excess of $800 million. He joined Bear Stearns in 2002 as manager of listed equity trading and NYSE operations. Mr. Manfredonia also serves as Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange Upstairs Traders Advisory Committee and is a member of the Market Performance Committee of the New York Stock Exchange.
