I believe that tomorrow will be a good day. We should see a gapper in the pre-market trading hours. Friday it topped at 10.40 in pre-market to get 20% gain but then pulled back due to profit taking. Besides Fridays are typically selloff days before the weekend. No one wants to hold a position until Monday just to protect capital.

I can't wait to see what will happen this week. Taser International back in 2004 created a lot of buzz and hype. And that hype alone brought the PPS from 1.49 in January to 127 in April. There's going to be some big names pushing this stock because a few celebrities like Montel Williams have MS.

Tomorrow is the start of a new trading day. Anyone have any guesses as to how high the pps will go???

I Don't know, but I will say pre-market buying is a given with this stock. Institutional investors have been doing a lot of buying in the early hours before the opening bell. Be prepared to see more of that this week. Everyone is anticipating more updates on Fampridine or another upgrade from the analysts.

I'm off to bed, can't wait to see what this week brings. [Wink]

Well well what do you know. The frenzy just won't stop, LOL. Man what a green day this is for me today. A lot of those rumors we heard about just might be true. This is no micro-penny peeps, its the real deal and the MMs of course got word of it too.
We just got to a new 52 week high again its still just the beginning.

Wow, I read all this over the weekend and really thought about putting some in, of course kicking myself now. Where do you think it is going from here? Disclaimer: I'm a really new investor...I do not trade penny stocks but look at them for fun if I decide to delve into some gambles. My first instinct is that the stock will continue to go higher tomorrow as well, then maybe towards the end of the day some will start to take their profit and it goes back down. Given the news coverage and I guess the MM's taking notice and everything else...do you think this one is here to stay? I know the analysts are targeting this around 13 or 14. Maybe the hype will bring it up to 18-20 like was said above? What do you think?

Hey Shift welcome to Allstocks you'll love it here. A lot of great people here to help you. I can't tell you whether to buy or sell, but if you are considering this stock my only suggestion would be to put it on your watchlist, watch how it goes up and down throughout the day.

ACOR is very volatile, after each run up, the MMs and profit takers tend to walk it back down 10 to 20%. From this daily trend, that usually seem to be the buying op at the bottom. But please play this only with money you can afford to lose and do all the research you can on the stock. The talkshow host Montel Williams suffers with MS and he was on one of the major cable news stations mentioning the breakthrough from ACOR's drug Fampridine.

Personally I'd wait for a pullback on the price before I buy, I tend to flip Nasdaq tech stocks in the range of $1 to $10. Good luck my friend and don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Great post, thanks for the support. Yeah I already decided to just watch this one and learn because most people already made their money on it and I really don't know the strategies of the MM's...they just seem to be the thorn in everyone's side here.

Got back in this yesterday and made a good profit. The momentum and volatility of this stock is just staggering.

Yeah. I should have shorted at 16.50 last week, covered at 14.50 and then went long.

Biotech drug developer Acorda Therapeutics Inc. said Friday it will conduct an additional late-stage trial of its multiple sclerosis treatment based on feedback it received from a meeting with the Food and Drug Administration.

In September 2006, the company said its Fampridine-SR MS drug improved the walking speed in significantly more patients than a placebo in a late-stage clinical trial.

The trial was completed under a Special Protocol Assessment with the FDA, meaning Acorda sat down with officials to design a study that was most likely to yield the best results.

The FDA typically requires two well-controlled studies providing convincing results to substantially prove a drug is effective, according to the company.

Acorda said it will work with the agency to design the second study with a same or shorter duration than its previous
