I'm screwed if it doesn't hit $2.0 tomorrow. Not happy with today's session. And what if the Conference Call has a reverse effect? They say there were 16 embryos killed... Not that I give a damn, but this may destroy us... I'm just so worried probably won't sleep all night...Lots of money on stake and so far loosing big time. Somebody give me a hug....or a drink:)... cancel the hug...I'll take the drink...lol

I got in at $1.53. I made a big .07 per share, but I guess its better than some. Neona you need to chill man. When you say things like "I have no choice but to hold now" you will see the veterans cringe. Of course you can sell. You can take that money, find another play and make all your money back plus more. The only time you can't sell is if you own a ton of shares of a stock that dumps down to nothing. In that case your better off holding, but This stock is still at $1.60 a share. How many shares do you have?

OK--zz? You and Neona need to do whatever you're going to do. Me? I'd say with you guys' comfort level, you should be setting exit points at somewhere between 7.5 to 12.5...*maybe* 15% loss. NO more than 20%...
As soon as you buy...have your sell order set up, ready to pull the trigger...
This is the second "big-unusual" play of the summer...may not, in fact, be a good one to cut teeth. zz? will say this, you got the necessary attitude. But "drops hard" is w-a-a-y too subjective. Neona? You simply must have a plan...why did you buy this? If your answer is "You guys were saying..." aaagghh... *BIG BUZZER* Sound... Simply put: you never buy cuz of "what peeps are saying."
Does that mean you're stoopid?
No--we've ALL done it...but if you're worried and losing sleep? May not be the game for you. Pennies are ruthless...
Now: objectively...this can, imo, *print* lower than the 200-moving day, but if it *closes* below 1.39-1.37...well, that's defintely short-term trouble. Many traders are eyeing that $1.39 level, and some will set that as bail-point. Others will risk prints as low as, i dunno, just saying 1.25...even a buck...
But even another red-day tomorrow is not necessarily doomsday...
we do wanna close above 1.39ish

okay.....the bottom line is this....no doubt this is a "politicaly charged subject"....it will be talked about for the forseeable future because of it's implications and actc is right smack in the middle of the foray.....and guess what....this will go much higher both on speculation and debate....fueled by more of the same NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL press releases, nightly news casts, and front page articles ....BOL to all...

Neona? we may get off on the wrong foot, here--but what I'm saying is, do NOT seek "advice." Those who would "advise" you are suspect--right offa the bat.
Weigh opinions...don't take advice...
that's my opinion

quote: White House says new stem cell method "encouraging" By Andy Sullivan Thu Aug 24, 6:29 PM ET
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House on Thursday said it was encouraged by a new method for embryonic stem cell research, an advance that could help resolve President George W. Bush's objections to what he views as the destruction of life.
Bush used his first veto last month to block increased federal spending for such research, despite strong public support for the effort to combat diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
"The president believes (the new research) deserves a good look, he is encouraged that there are scientists who are continuing to look for innovative ways to do stem cell research that would not involve the destruction of embryos," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
But experts said the technique announced on Wednesday by Advanced Cell Technology won't resolve ethical debates and political battles that have divided the rest of the country for years.
Conservative religious groups, for example, said the Massachusetts company's announcement did not change their view the research destroyed potential human life.
Advocates of increased research said it was a vain attempt to resolve a debate about medical ethics through science.
"This isn't a technique that's going anywhere. This isn't an alternative to anything," said Arthur Caplan, director of the University of Pennsylvania Center for Bioethics.
Stem cells, which can develop into any kind of body tissue, are prized by medical researchers who believe they can lead to tailored treatments for diseases including cancer and diabetes.
Though they are available from many sources many experts say the most powerful and versatile cells may be those taken from embryos. Religious conservatives oppose this process because those embryos are destroyed when the cells are removed.
SINGLE CELL REMOVED FROM EMBRYO
Opinion polls show strong support for expanding federally backed embryonic stem cell research and the issue could figure prominently in November's congressional elections.
ACT's method, described in the science journal Nature, takes a single cell from an eight-celled embryo without harming it.
But that single cell must be combined with other cells harvested earlier, presumably from a process that destroyed embryos, said Michele Shoun, editor of Baptists for Life, a publication for ministers that opposes stem cell research involving embryos.
"I appreciate that someone is trying to work with our concerns, but I don't think they've quite reached that," Shoun said.
Richard Doerflinger, a bioethics expert with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, said the experiment was unethical because it involved discarding embryos.
"The Catholic Church is open to considering all ethically acceptable avenues of stem cell research. The new study ... however, raises more ethical questions than it answers," he said.
Stanford University medical researcher Bill Hurlbut, who sits on the President's Council for Bioethics, praised the study as a valiant attempt to build consensus, but said it did not answer many questions about the dangers involved in the process.
"This represents the right attitude, but I think there are other methods that will provide a wider range of cells and be easier to accomplish," he said.

I saw that someone had recommended that you buy on the open and I felt like saying something to you but didn't. Another poster so accurately put it that when you are smiling...SELL and take any profit...however, that said, this story is one of a kind and I think it's not good to panic sell either..keep a close eye on it.. good luck
