check this little piece of an article I found. Just proves that a cat 1 can turn into a cat 5 really fast.
Katrina was the eleventh named storm, fifth hurricane, third major hurricane, and second Category 5 hurricane of the 2005 Atlantic season. It formed over the Bahamas on August 23, 2005, and crossed southern Florida as a moderate Category 1 hurricane before strengthening rapidly in the Gulf of Mexico and becoming one of the strongest hurricanes ever recorded in the Gulf. The storm weakened considerably before making its second and third landfalls as a Category 3 storm on the morning of August 29 in southeast Louisiana and at the Louisiana/Mississippi state line, respectively.

Looks like Chris is crapping out. Perhaps, he needs an energy bar? Winds are down in the 40's now.

Please note bottom of article - Chris is weakened but, it could (not saying it will) gain steam again once it moves into the warm gulf waters. In any event, NLST is still a buy (IMO) at these levels. This is just the beginning of the season.
Tropical Storm Chris Weakens to a Minimal Posted: 3-AUG-2006 08:48am EDT
By AccuWeather Meteorologist Kevin Witt
A tropical storm watch remains in effect for the Dominican Republic from the northern border with Haiti east to Santo Domingo, as well as for the Turks and Caicos Islands and the southern Bahamas, including the Acklins, Crooked Island, the Inaguas, Mayaguana, and the Ragged Islands.
At 7:00 a.m. EDT, Tropical Storm Chris has weakened to a minimal tropical storm to the north of an area between Hispaniola and Puerto Rico. Maximum sustained winds are now down to 40 mph with gusts 50 mph. Chris is located near 20.6 north and 67.3 west. The storm is moving toward the west at around 13 mph, and the minimum pressure was estimated to be 1013 millibars, or 29.91 inches of mercury. The tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles, mainly north and east from the storm's center.
Most of Chris' convection is pushing southwest over the eastern half of Puerto Rico. Chris' future track will be highly dependent on the strength, shape and orientation of the Bermuda/ Azores high.
All eyes will be focused into the Gulf of Mexico later this weekend and early next week should Chris survive its trek westward near the Greater Island chain and perhaps across northern parts of Cuba.
Those residing in South Florida and the Keys need to monitor the storm's approach carefully. There is a chance that Chris will be passing near the Straits of Florida over the weekend and could bring strong winds and some heavy rainfall. Chris should then move into the Gulf of Mexico by early next week. It is possible Chris' eventual destination could be the western Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

I agree, this is the start of a much larger move, this only shows investors that NLST has the ability to move fast on news of a storm. The stock will move up very high peaking at $3.50 imo. My exit point is $2.80 and I have all the confidence that it will be reached. Keep the faith!

The insurance companies are predicting less overall activity - but more severe storms to make landfall this year. If that is true, NLST will make new highs.

Healthy volume yesterday.. about the same as the entire second half of July. Broke through resistance, some people took profits. The next few days may be a good time to reload.

WOW....nice video.....what I saw in it was Katrina forming so quick from nothing right at the bahamas and small cat 1 at florida, then became a monster in the gulf.......wow! Goes to show, you just never know, one could come out of no where.
