YE HAHHHHHH ladies and gentleman.
I havent made a call in the last month becaue i have been loading ECCI. This is my big pick.

I will have much info to give on this in the next day or so.

But yes there are many hurricane plays.
Top 4 are :
ECCI
NLST
WEGI
CHDT

Now I and many other traders like ECCI the most of all because i believe they all had pre hurricane season runups. But ECCI has not.

On top of that ECCI ran from .07 to .75 last summer..WEEEEE

For the record currently i am setting my orders for around .23 for about a 120% return. I will leave them open for about 3 weeks during july.

Last month, ECCI ran to .16 on Tropical Storm Alberto. That was not even a Hurricane

LMAO.

MillerTime,

What do you think this stock can top out at over the summer, if there is a bad hurricane? Could it shoot up over .50 within a few days after a big storm?

The stock closed the day at .101, so why is the ask price now at .11? Does this mean the stock is expected to good for the day or the forseeable future?

That is all just a wild guess. I mean last year, when it was at .075 nobody would have predicted .75. Thats like a 1000% gain.

So this year, i think the easiest way to take a guess is to use history. Tropical Storm Alberto that came thru at the start of june...

--During Alberto it hit .16

--A Cat 1 Hurricane im guessing .22+

--A Cat 3 Hurricane probably about .28

--A Cat 3 hitting a major city will be .3+

--And god help us but a cat 4 or 5 on a major city who really knows. Probably .4+ all the way up to .8. Depends on several factors, one mostly being the momo of the stock.

What this stock is, is a good payoff for somebody that can afford to hold. You are buying right now the "silence" or the "weakness". Nobody wants it right now because there is no hurricane. They dont want to hold. But when there is a storm we will be selling into the "noise" or "strength".

Im going to quote this post in about 3 weeks. i am saying right now that you will be able to get at least 75% or nearly a double out of your money with a buy order here at .102.

Watch this, its gonna be funny. Currently there is no momo, no excitement, and i am telling you right now, think into the future when there is a hurricane...watch and learn.!

The volume is slowly increasing on this. It has put in its bottom at .1-.102.

The 1st hurricane is just like a ticking timebomb, you know its gonna happen. Last year i had to live thru both Katrina and Rita and am still feeling the effects (although my placement was no where near as bad as n' orleans

Accuweather is reporting 4 tropical waves currently in the gulf and atlantic with a possible formation in the coming days. Although there are always tropical waves at this point, its just will they organize into storms.

Good luck to all, and congrats to anyone picking up shares here.

Say there's a hurricane, who decides to bring in ECCI for "good water"? Are they the only company that could be brought in for the "good water"?

TRENTON, New Jersey (Reuters) - Thousands of New Jersey residents were evacuated along the rising Delaware River, now expected to crest at near-record levels Thursday afternoon, as the rain-soaked U.S. northeast expected more storms.

Up to 200,000 evacuees from historic Pennsylvania coal town of Wilkes-Barre were allowed to return to their waterlogged homes and businesses after levees held back the Susquehanna River, which crested overnight.

New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine told reporters water levels along the Delaware River could crest in the afternoon near 25 feet, a level that would rival floods of last year, and could lead to serious problems in the state capital, Trenton.

There were 6,200 people evacuated along the Delaware from Trenton to Sussex County, Corzine said. Those who remained were urged by Trenton Mayor Doug Palmer to conserve water because floods had closed a filtration plant, leaving just one and a half day's supply of water until it is fixed.

New York Gov. George Pataki said after visiting the flooded city of Binghamton the destruction was unprecedented and the cost could run into hundreds of millions of dollars, according to a spokesman, Saleem Cheeks.

Days of torrential rain followed by floods had killed at least 16 people in the eastern United States by Thursday, including those killed in storm-related road accidents.

With buildings submerged, roads washed out and rivers surging, authorities declared emergencies on Wednesday and ordered hundreds of thousands of people evacuated in New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

"Yesterday was a war zone in the northern tier of Pennsylvania -- we choppered out over 1,000 people from rooftops, from second and third floors of their homes," Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell said in an interview on CNN.

Wilkes-Barre authorities said they would be assessing damage to underground utilities such as gas and sewage that could be damaged, as well as to buildings in the area.

"It's hard to say we dodged a bullet, considering all the damage and danger, but so far the news has been good today," Rendell said. Officials were most concerned on Thursday about the Delaware River in southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

STORMS FORECAST

The National Weather Service warned there could be severe thunder storms across New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland later in the day.

The Delaware was expected to crest in Trenton at 4 p.m. (2000 GMT) on Thursday, and Corzine said the rising water could cause damage comparable to $30 million in losses caused by floods last year.

More than 1,000 people were under mandatory evacuation orders from a section of single-family Trenton homes along the river and the flood water reached half-way up front doors.

Melvena Barnes, 26, and her one-week-old baby had left their apartment in the evacuated area to stay with her mother. "We're making the best of it," she said. "I'm moving. I've been here for four years and the floods just keep getting worse."

Binghamton remained partly flooded and the nearby town of Conklin was worst hit in New York, though the water was going down, said Broome County spokeswoman Darcy Fauci.

The National Weather Service was still posting flood warnings for large parts of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service said on Thursday its headquarters building in Washington was likely to remain closed for at least 30 days due to recent flooding. But repairs to the building will not affect tax services or enforcement operations, the IRS said.

(Additional reporting by Jon Hurdle in Wilkes-Barre, Matthew Verrinder in Trenton, David Lawder in Washington, Sarah Coffey, Ellen Wulfhorst and Claudia Parsons in New York)

Currently .1065x.109
2x1

And UBSS has uticked on the ask to .118 so we break .109 and head up to .118.

The bid side has strengthened pretty well as well.

I believe that NLST will see better returns on your investment. Not saying that ECCI isnt good but had to throw that out there.

I think it's more about speculation than anything.. that's what moves these stocks, mostly. Not that it's a bad thing when you bought in cheap...

NLST vs ECCI...which one? Look how much NLST has run up the past month, you invest now and nothing is going on and bam, you are down to .10
It makes it a lot better choice to pick ECCI which is a lot closer to its 52 week low, which moved more then 50% just on the news of alberto

I've been in since may
ECCI 70k
NLST 100k
WEGI 35k
CHDT 50k
BUGS 720k

true, ECCI and BUGS have not run up like WEGI and NLST or CHDT.......good safe play right now.....don't forget HYRF as well and the more conservative CHYS at $7.75, which should run to $12 on a big cane.

Signs of trouble
The Florida peninsula and the U.S. East Coast have more than double the average chance of feeling a major hurricane this year, according to Colorado State University researchers William Gray and Philip Klotzbach. These are the global climate symptoms they're relying on to predict a scary season:

1. High pressure in Northeast and Canada: Points to a greater chance of the Bermuda High's remaining close to the U.S. Atlantic Coast, pushing hurricanes ashore instead of letting them curve into the ocean.

2. Strong winds, cold water west of South America: These are associated with a spring La Niña pattern of cold ocean currents in the Pacific, which tends to favor Atlantic hurricanes. But this year's weak La Niña has faded to 'neutral,' so its influence should be slight.

3. High pressure over the Arctic: Points to weaker-than-normal winds blowing eastward across the North Atlantic, allowing hurricanes to reach shore.
