Vfinance is an investment banking/trading company that is extremely cheap. It is at .27 and is expected to earn .04 this year. In the first quarter it earned .01. This would give the company a forward P/E of 6, while it is growth at 35% a year. Investment banking is the place to be right now, just look at Lazard/Goldman Sachs.
They are also aquiring companies to boost their growth

NWD and SUWN are continuing to slowly creep up.
Out of all those stocks I listed, only LSGP, WEGIE and ZENX are showing any action, mixed bag up and down. DPW continues to crash which baffles me.

VFIN and NITE go at it in court from time to time, could be part of it.
'Been in an out playing it for a couple yrs.
Leeds picked it over a year ago..Think he put the roof on at about a buck. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posts: 8147 | From: oregon | Registered: Feb 2005 | IP: Logged |

VFIN has been of interest to me for years, and generally i like it. but - i'm not sure it's fair to say they're "expected to earn .04 this year", also am not sure about the 35% growth rate. their revs and bottom line have historically been choppy: last year they actually lost .03 on the year, on a drop in revs from the year before.
their 1Q was good, and i remain interested in VFIN - don't get me wrong. i am certainly a fan of their $6M on the balance sheet.
there's also things i'm cautious about though, if you read over the last 10K. expenses ballooned quite a bit, for example. while their last Q was good, they did lose money in each of the 4 Q's the previous year. if they can start stringing consecutive Q's of profits from their core business together and any of their new business develops well - certainly VFIN could take off. i'd not 100% sold that they can produce consistent profits and keep costs in line yet though.
