This will be huge within a few years. They will layoff 80% of their staff, and are looking to buy other exchanges internationally. Final goal - 1 market, global, open 24 hours, all eletronic. Don't be suprised if they merge with NASDAQ 10 years from now.

True. But long term, this is definitely a stock for the IRA. They will rule the global trading markets. No more ECN's, no more foreign (major) exchanges, no more afterhours, no more Specialists. NYSE will rule.

Ya, pre-market stinks anymore, insiders rule the play, same with after hours.
I'll play for a 10% gainer [ if it starts moving ] tomorrow, but won't hold overnight..

what's the symbol gonna be, and is archipelago(AX) just gonna stop trading and continue with this new symbol? AX is up over 15% in the last couple of weeks too.
