trade 4, I noticed you are having some growing pains with some of the Heavy weights....
Just a Heads up, find a style that more honestly fits who you really are......
I wouldn't bother with ya, but I have a hunch you just may be a little "ill at ease" being new and all...
There are many differant forces at work on these boards, stay with the hard working Honest posters and you will be alot more successful.
In a little time, I think you may bring good work to the board, in a flowing manner. Remember we have to make split second decesions sometimes..And sometimes we have to put our trust in others..End of Lecture!!!LOL

Matt, valuation and volume are where my instincts take me when things are moving fast.
I watch the technical and chart people when they post. If they are good posters and I have seen them in action enough to get a good reading on their attitude about the stock, it can help me make a decesion.

i like CPTC. they seem to make a great product, and i'd really like to see them succeed. i still own a little as a long-term speculation, just 200 shares or so.
i have to say though: their numbers, as expected, were not too pretty. i guess i am highly confused about the topic of this thread: "RECORD earnings announced"? uhhh...they lost $7.2M on the Q, in which their revenue was $23K on product sales and $0.5M in consulting. they had a little *revenue*, but not really any "earnings", at least in the profit sense - they lost 6 cents a share.
then again, it's not about the present earnings with CPTC, is all about the hope that they can land the big contract someday. maybe a long shot, but - we'll see, i hope they do.
