Sorry for the stupid question so early on a Monday morning, but I have to ask...GNBT, CAB,MARSA, SCU and a few others are on the naked short list. What does that MEAN? Is it good or bad? (trying to think in simple terms...lol)

Also what does the phrase "failure to deliver shares of..." mean?

Any explananation would be appreciated...

Thanks. [Smile]

means the mm's are selling shares that don't exist, usually holding down the price.

"failure" i'm not sure where your getting it from....could be a lot of answers, but normally I see it on a split or spinoff, where the company fails to give shares to shareholders.

it means they are guilty of failing to deliver the shares they have sold short.
