Royal Quantum Group Acquires X-Treme Oilfield Communications

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb 08, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Royal Quantum Group, Inc. (OTCBB:RYQG) announces it has signed a letter of intent for the acquisition of X-Treme Oilfield Communications Ltd. X-Treme is a provider of high-speed satellite communications to the oil and gas sector. X-Treme offers portable and fixed communication solutions to oil and gas companies working in extreme remote conditions, providing data transfer speeds at rates comparable to current ADSL connection speeds.

X-Treme currently has over 25 fixed systems and 2 portable units now in operation and is working with other industry sectors to provide reliable, affordable and secure high-speed communications system to meet their requirements. X-Treme Oilfield Communications will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Quantum Group Inc. The company intends to expand the target market for this service to include the mining and forestry industries and emergency response groups. The letter of intent is subject to a due diligence review by Royal Quantum, including an inspection of assets and the signing of a definitive agreement.
