RECOV Energy Corp. Completes Acquisition of General Gold Corporation
JERSEY CITY, N.J., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RECOV Energy Corp. ("RECOV" or the "Company") (OTC Bulletin Board: RCOV) announced that it completed the acquisition of General Gold Corporation (GGC), which will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary. An 8K will be filed with the SEC containing the specifics of the transaction shortly.

Through its GGC subsidiary, the Company now controls 100% of the Independence gold and silver mine which sits as an island in Newmont's Phoenix Mine in Battle Mountain, Nevada. The Independence has historically produced between 10,000 and 15,000 ounces of gold and over 60,000 ounces of silver from over 8 miles of development along 1500 feet of the Independence Fault Zone. The Independence property covers approximately 240 acres. Core and RC drilling to date, according to an independent report by Carrington Consulting, indicates 1.64 million ounces of gold contained in two targets. Excellent geological potential exists to discover 2 to 5 million additional ounces of gold on the property. 25,000 feet of drill core from Noranda's exploration is stored on site and has been recently relogged in preparation of a mine model to guide future drilling. This sounds like great news, price went up .02 on low volume. Chart shows Golden Cross formed. Price has hooverd around .50 for the last week. Hopefully it will start to take off.
