Transmeta Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to develop and distribute software-based microprocessors and additional hardware and software technologies for Mobile Internet Computers. These products are portable computing and communication devices that are compatible with PC software. The products also deliver the performance required to run standard PC and Internet applications and also offer long battery life. Crusoe microprocessors have been developed for lightweight notebook computers and wireless Internet access devices and other Internet appliances. The Crusoe microprocessors are suitable for a broad set of existing and emerging end markets where energy efficiency and x86 software compatibility are desirable. The Group's customers include Sharp, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard and Uniquest.
