Anyone see the show yesterday? Anything under $1 is garbage.
The thing I don't understand is this. I read online though people made fortunes in these stocks. Buying them below a penny and them going up big.
Why are those pepople never mentioned? Even when Cramer talks about these stocks, only the negative is mentioned. No rags to riches stories are heard. SPEA went up like $20 a share. Someone had to own that below a $1. I saw volume on it even at that level.
If someone is investing only $100 in a penny stock, who cares if the stocks goes out of business. It's not like people put $10,000 in any one penny stock.

Man, I love Cramer...I watch him every night...sometimes twice a night, but there has got to be a reason why he always pushes "best of breed"...he's a "big boy"...he has worked hard for his spot and I admire that...but he's forgotten what it's like to not be rich...hell, I work for a Millionaire that I've known for 25 years, & he hasn't got a clue what the real world is like...bottom line, I started trding pinks about a month ago...I'm up about 300% and I like it...I get great advice from these boards and my hat is off to all who contribute. Just do what you feel is right & you'll be fine...remember, IT'S YOU'RE MONEY!! BOOOYAAAA!!!

Dustoff... Speaking of Meth and Cramer, he looks to be quite the "Nyquil" user himself. Don't think I ever seen anybody wound soo tight naturally. I watch his show occasionally just for the fact that I know one day he's gonna blow a fuse live on TV.

microsoft was never a pink sheet stock. if you look at historical charts you see the penny prices because of all the splits. the msft ipo was $21 a share and never looked back.

MSFT has a calculator that shows the value of your ipo investment if you held it until today. $21K investment on ipo would now be worth $7.2 million. pretty amazing.

I recall an episode of Mad Money when Cramer (when confronted with a low denom stock) confided that he liked it but would not recommend it because the average viewer of his show does not have the ability to trade but only to invest.
It's all a business, could you imagine what would happen to the ratings of Mad Money if Cramer picked cmkx! I imagine he has a few he plays himself, but then again he probably doesn't have the time.
I recall another episode when a caller during the lightning round (concerned with Cramer's health) suggested he take up yoga. Cramer's response. "I like that, it works good" LOL
That fuse has gotta blow

Cramers show is for people with thousands and thousands to invest(he once called XM satellite speculative) not for someone with a few grand to play around with. As far as him blowing a fuse .. i think he is just a great entertainer for a stock guy.. hes' crazy like a fox.
