MCT Receives Multiple System Order for Strip Test Handlers
ST. PAUL, Minn., Jul 28, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Micro Component Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:MCTI) today announced the receipt of a multiple system order for Tapestry SC strip test handlers. The order is particularly significant in that they are repeat orders "and" multiple units of MCT's recently released, temperature controlled version of the Tapestry Strip Test SC Handler. The delivery of these units is scheduled for Q3 of 2005. Ron Leckie, President of Infrastructure Advisors, a leading independent analyst and consultant to the semiconductor equipment and materials industry commented, "with its resulting substantial increase in component density and high productivity, strip handling does for Test what Moore's law does for Wafer Fab. The strip test handling segment will be the fastest growing handler market over the next several years while both IDMs and subcontract Assembly/Test firms adopt this technology to reduce the cost of test," concluded Leckie.
