Do you think MBNA Stock will rise? Would you sell before the merger? Some insight please......what is a general rule of thumb for a company being bought.............

Because all deals can fall apart it will prob. trade just below the take over price. Unless the market sees another company comming in and offering more then it could trade even higher than the take out price.
