Geo, Be careful bud. I'd wait a few more days if I were you. We might not want to get back in yet. This has been falling. I am waiting until this starts to turn around or until GTE puts out a PR saying they are launching.

I wish I had more to buy at this price, I like making money from people who cant take the heat. If it wasnt for emotional people I would never be able to buy at 3.00 and sell at 3.80 I have over 1700 free shares of GTE becuase people invest in high risk stock when they cant afford to. I dont care if people buy or sell or if it hits 10 bucks a share or if this thing ever gets off the ground, I will have made plenty from people who keep dumping. I guess thats how most people make money doing this. If your going to put your money out there you need to be able to handle the swings.

GTEL did a reverse split, usually after splits on a stock, the price can sometimes return to the pre split price. I don't think GTE will drop that far. All I am saying is be careful here. I just don't want Geo or anyone else getting hurt on this.

the r/s that go back to the original share price is because that is all they are worth. This is diffrent. It was done to move to the Amex and no other reason

But they only have 71 mil shares now and the company is still the same. Nothing has changed from before when they had 10 bil shares out.
================================================= George it was 1.7 billion shrs not 10 billion... I know you knew that, just thought I would correct that number in the interest of accuracy

why hold when you can keep adding to your shares day to day, hold a core, trade the extras, build it up and when it gets off the ground you will take a nice vacation. It doesnt need to work it just needs to fly once.... because as we all know that will be a good day when the PR says it is flying

Just checking in again...still holding my core amount. I did sell some excess off (above core amount) at .26 before the R/S knowing there was a good chance I could pick them back up cheaper. I needed the money for another stock that was on the rise. I'm getting ready to buy more GTE when it bottoms out. I suspect it may still drop a little before launch. GLTA.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jun 06, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
GlobeTel Communications Corp. (AMEX:GTE) today announced that it has acquired the assets of HotZone Wireless, LLC (HotZone). HotZone is an advanced developer of WIMAX and extended range WIFI Systems with operations in the United States and Europe. The acquisition was paid primarily in GTE shares and cash. The agreement calls for certain performances by the sellers to achieve the full consideration.

HotZone provides the only available integrated outdoor system covering all these protocols with a single system. HotZone also implements innovative DVB-RCT Technologies enabling wireless transmission of voice, data and real-time video.
Primary consideration for the purchase is 666,667 GlobeTel common shares paid yearly for three years upon the successful completion of certain developmental milestones. Additionally, Mr. Altvater and his staff are entering into employment agreements with Globetel.
