Real estate is extremely hot here in Riverside.
We have the fastest job growth, highest employment rate and the highest gaining real property market, currently. We beat the entire state of MuscleHead for economic improvement.
Nice bedroom community with lots of white collar and light industry employment.
We are averaging thirty to thiry-five percent per year growth in real property value.

Glassman, we are looking towards the future, a future of buying several hundred acres up in Lee Vining, California, a small town at the base of the Sierra range on the eastern side just below Yosemite and north of Mammoth.

sounds nice... less crowded up there i hope?
i am still a little ticked at UCR right now...
but the growth there has been phenomenal... when i was first there in '98? they had several houses within walking distance of the university that were sitting vacant/in foreclosure... not anymore i bet....

Lee Vining would fit in a tablespoon. Year 2000 census shows a 488 population.
Lee Vining seems to qualify for a "small town."
Hey, we are talking about a hundred miles past that well known town, "middle of nowhere."
Sierra Mountains rise ten-thousand feet up only a handful of mule miles from Lee Vining. Yosemite is about fifteen minutes away, skiing in Tahoe just north, skiing in Mammoth just south, and Reno is only a few hours away. Beautiful high desert to the east.
Sunset comes very early, around two to three in the afternoon because of the height and sheer steepness of the Sierras immediately to the west.
High Sierras and lots of wildlife!

WWF Statement on Reports that Ivory-Billed Woodpecker Is Not Extinct For Release: 04/28/2005
Washington - Carter Roberts, president and CEO-elect of World Wildlife Fund, issued the following statement following reports that the ivory-billed woodpecker has been found in Arkansas, 60 years after it was believed to have gone extinct.
"Nature gives very few second chances, but this may be one of them. Just imagine: North America's largest woodpecker - a bird with a three-foot wingspan - hiding in the Arkansas woods for 60 years without being seen by people.

Yes, Glassman, right hand is the food hand, and left hand is the poop hand.
Really doesn't have anything to do with culture. For that photo, both men are "outside" their respective cultures and "inside" the political arena. Cultural aspects are fairly much set aside when world leaders meet, as they did.
Try to imagine Bush holding hands with Putin, Castro or Saddam Hussein.
Their physical act, holding hands, is plain weird.
Additionally, the prince represents a country well known for secretly funding terrorists and is well known for sending Rudy Juliano a ten-million dollar check and a note indicating America was at fault for the 9-11 attack. Rudy did right by sending their check back with a note to "shove it."
Rudy gave the prince his hand, in the form of a "fisting" gesture. Hooray for Rudy!
The Bush family has long historical ties to the Saudi Royal Family. The Bush family has made millions thanks to those oil rich terrorists.
Bush is a socially inept bozo; he should never hold the hand which helped murder thousands of Americans in most horrific ways.
Bush has, in effect, sent a message,
"I can be bought."
Purl Gurl
* I am wondering if the prince would hold hands with Bill Clinton. Ewwww....

I don't get what is so bad with having a socially inept President, when we used to have a sociopathic President. Think of it as an improvement.
I laughed when people started getting upset with Bush calling terrorists "folks" as if it was a legally binding word meaning "nice people." Most "folks" are not nice.
