Stonebridge Acquires the Churchill Property Comprising 22 Claim Units and Announces Initial Drilling Results Wednesday April 27, 5:13 pm ET
CARSON CITY, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 27, 2005--Stonebridge Resources Explorations Ltd. (NQB:SBGX - News), has acquired 22 claim units (870 acres) located in south-central Churchill Township, approximately 3 km north of Shining Tree village in North Eastern Ontario. Preliminary exploration revealed two quartz-rich, gold bearing shear zones which intersect near the center of the property. The initial drilling results at Zone East on the property were done at 133 meters and yielded 39.1 grams of Gold per ton as well as 155.4 grams per ton of Silver. Phase one of the explorations is to cost $214,000 U.S. and includes Diamond drilling. Shining Tree gold camp has over 150 recorded gold occurrences. Several properties were partially developed as early as the 1930's with the Rhonda Mine, one of the earliest, still in production.

Hey...I tracked down the SHARE STRUCTURE for SBGX. Here's what they have listed - Tell me this thing won't have strong momentum, with this small a float!: (HOLDING STRONG today around .40 - very likely to resume uptrend soon!)

I gotta think that after holding up so nicely yesterday, and through today, that we will see a resumption of momentum next week.
Check the chart - an UPTREND is beginning.
I see this stock to run well as a SWING-PLAY, and I do expect that after being PROFILED yesterday - we can expect something further to come out for this company.
They have been in the process of putting together ACQUISITIONS, and indeed - that is their stated business objective. The stated DRILLING RESULTS certainly don't hurt either!

Stonebridge Signs LOI to Acquire 50% Interest in Mining Claims of 6070205 Canada Inc. Friday April 29, 4:01 pm ET
CARSON CITY, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 2005--Stonebridge Resources Explorations Ltd. (NQB:SBGX - News), has entered into a letter of intent with 6070205 Canada Inc. to Acquire 50% interest in the mining claims of their property in Northern Ontario, 15 km N.W. of Kirkland Lake. The property was explored previously by a number of companies and previous drilling indicated geology finds that are favorable for a potential large sulphite deposit.
The initial drilling done in 1998 indicated zinc mineralization in a number of drill holes, varying from 0.6 meters of 4.4% zinc and 1.76% zinc over 4.6 meters, 1.33% zinc over 4 meters.
In the year 2002 a megatem airborne survey was conducted over the property identifying several areas of interest. A confirmation of the geophysical result from the airborne survey was obtained by a ground geophysical survey that identified the down plunge extension of the previous drilling. It was recommended that a 3 drill hole program for a total of 500 meters be undertaken.

Looks good! From reading this news release and the last,it looks like they are looking to aggressively start to acquire many established companies.I'm sure we will see more positive news from them soon.Volume should start picking up soon and from looking at the chart,I agree with hokietrader that .45 looks to be a nice breakout point.

Like how SBGX is holding up with little trading. Former .40 resist. is now SUPPORT...tried to shake holders earlier, didn't work. Bid back to .40
My guess is all are holding, as this company has had some very positive ACQUISITION news, and increased REVs are anticipated soon. Good buy at this level 4 both short and long-term, and with the low float listed for this stock, I'm anticipating strong movement when further releases come...

SBGX Ask back to .46 now..... Hope everyone took advantage of the lunchtime dip! This still should resume uptrend. Looks likey they are keeping large spread now, to try and shake holders out. You may want to try for entry between spread, before this stock really gets going. Next stop .50 soon, imo.

sbgx has added 4 mms now at bids of .41 or higher. This stock had 1 mm before! Good things to come??? Looking at the lower bollinger band as it comes up higher, showing higher support levels. Nice! StochRSI getting ready to turn back up again after a drop and CCI looking to break 100!

Ask up on SBGX today - holding in the mid 40's, and a GREAT BUY here....fully expecting momo to resume, and should see a retest of .50 area. Once it passes that there is only 1 MM LEFT @ .55, then CLEAR SKIES AHEAD folks. Opportunity be knockin'.

Would love to see SBGX duplicate the kind of surge tomorrow it had in JAN. of this year - shot up to 1.50! Will be watching, and should see some strong trading tomorrow, on the heels of news.
This was great news after-hours today - I knew it was just gonna be a short while before they 'sealed the deal' for 50% of mining rights.
Now all systems are GO for drilling, and they plan on doing so "immediately".
Revenues around the corner, I'd say. Very positive to see this company make their many acquisitions, and even better to see them come to fruition in terms of ore-production.
Great grab anywhere in the .40 area, as we should see this thing easily break thru boll. bands, and onto new heights.
