I am a federal dude and i have a thing called
TSP.gov

there i fund mirrors a thing called the eafe
this has a stock symbol of efa you can pull
a stock chart on...

over the years i have learned how to read the charts and i check the rsi and macd for the i fund on the tsp...

i transfer out on the high and in on the lows and I have a lot of fun doing it...

the stock symbol for the i fund is efa
and if you put in an interfund transfer
before noon it happens that night...

so right now the macd is about to cross over and
it looks like an upturn so the trick is to time
the exit... right its up 0% for the year...

if you would have exited on the macd crossovers you
would be up 12%for the year....

just ride it right now and we will look for an exit at the top and just pop overinto the G fund for a few days until the next run...

i pull the charts at stock charts dot com

Blue,
Is there a cost with the fund jumping?

Daily Commentary

Our system posted a SELL-IF today. The previous BUY recommendation that was confirmed was made on 04.06.2005 (16) days ago, when the stock price was 159.4500. Since then EFA has fallen -1.26% .

Are you eager to sell your shares? Well, this may be the right time to do so. However, waiting for the market confirmation may be even better. We request utmost attention in the next session. The pattern is a bearish one, but we have to see whether it will be confirmed or not. After hours trading and futures may give early indications.

Do you see a gap-down at the market open? Do you see a black candlestick forming with a lower close at the session’s end? Shortly, is it a down day? If so, do not hesitate and sell your stocks; or sell short if you are one of the chaps that love to earn money in a falling market.

What if you see a gap-up when the market opens? What if you see a white candlestick with a higher close when the next session ends? Then, do not challenge the market. Its collective wisdom is much better than ours. Cancel the sell orders, cover any new short positions that you might have opened and hold your stocks tight.

[MOTTO OF THE DAY]
Sell only if the bears are in charge
Forget about it if the bulls surge

Today’s Candlestick Patterns:

High Wave
Bearish Harami

Candlestick Pattern

Today a High Wave was formed. This implies a loss of sense of direction and that there is a great amount of indecision in the market.
For more about this candlestick click here.

The last two candlesticks formed a Bearish Harami Pattern . This is a bearish reversal pattern that marks a potential change in trend. However, its reliability is low and it definitely requires confirmation.

well it works for the c fund to...

i will post the 3 letter code to it...

there is a stock symbol for both the 3 risky
stocks...actually the charts look almost the same.

and you can do an interfund transfer from any of
the funds at any time...

what i propose is that you ride the fund up until the rsi is over sold and you see macd cross over.
the you transfer over to the G fund until the fund your in bottoms out...and then you transfer back in...if you did this in the i fund this year right now you would be at 12% instead of zero..

Thanks I would appreciate it, since I ccan't seem to figure out which one it is!

Barclays Equity Index Fund — The C Fund is invested in the Barclays Equity Index Fund. The C Fund holds all the stocks
included in the S&P 500 index in virtually the same weights that they have in the index. The performance of the Equity
Index Fund is evaluated on the basis of how closely its returns match those of the S&P 500 index. A portion of Equity Index
Fund assets is reserved to meet the needs of daily client activity. This liquidity reserve is invested in S&P 500 index
futures contracts.
The C Fund invests in the Barclays Equity Index Fund by purchasing shares of the Barclays Equity Index Fund “E,” which
in turn holds primarily shares of the Barclays Equity Index Master Fund. As of December 31, 2004, C Fund holdings constituted
$63.2 billion of the Equity Index Master Fund, which itself held $124.0 billion of securities.
