I dont know about anyone else... but i am drowning in PG's venom. How can she make so many blanket statements about so many people? Is she that perfect(like most liberals think they are ) or is she just immature. PG, Is there anything positive that you can say about anyone in America? Im sure you wont answer...have a nice day.

i agree we lost alot to fight the war in iraq including many brave service men and women
but ask the millions of iraq citizens how they feel to be free of sadam
ill go out on a limb here and say youll find a hell of alot more that are happy hes gone than wish he was back
but lets just agree to disagree on the war the real subject is that despite purls views its not all GW Bush fualt

the fualt is widespread and is much harder to get rid of than the bush family will be
if people continue to be sheep a vote for the lesser of 2 evils we will always have terrible corruption in our political system and until we have a tightening of certain laws there is no deterent what-so-ever for people to stop "cooking the books" and every year we will find 2-3 MAJOR companies that are flat out lying to us just like we have every years for the last 7 years because theres simply no way to keep growing after you reach a certain point but the pressure to make it happen is greater than the slap on the wrist they get for lying and cheating

as far as the overall terrorist situation? Rumsfeld himself says he can't say we aren't creating more than we are killing...
why does everyone assume all terrorists are stupid?
i saw Ashcroft say last Thursday at Regents University that osama never expected us to come after him for 9-11...he said they expected US to fold... i was more than a little surprised he said that...

because they are usually incredibly unstable mentally OR incredibly easy to persuade (read manipulated) which as far as im concerned is the same as being stupid
so the answer your looking for is BECAUSE THEY ARE

Jason suggests my posts are off-topic. A reader, upon review, will discover my posts are a discussion of government policies and the effect of those policies upon economies, along with a discussion of AAII and Contraindication both inspired by Keith's respected insights.
What have you been writing about Jason? War and me?
Charger, yes, there is something good I can say about Americans. During recent history we American Indians are enjoying our revenge upon Anglo-Saxons through very profitable gambling casinos. I only wish more tribes, across America, could join in.
Another good point about America is finally we women are enjoying stability in wages while men's wages have decreased in value. If you will check stats all wages since 1990 have diminished because of inflation, except women's wages, which means we women are doing a better job of increasing our wages, after years of gender discrimination.
What I really like about America is we are the greatest and most envied nation on Earth, despite being led by a known illiterate with zero sex appeal.

i just think you concentrate your disdain far too much on the president than the places it really deseves it like congress ,the senate, weak regulatory bodies that cant be strengthened because of huge companies buying votes to keep measures from being passed to prevent themselves from being jailed when thier fruad is finally discovered
is the president part of the problem? you bet is he the only part? HELL NO
what happened to the market this week is pretty easy to figure out one company on the DJIA is in disarray one missed earnings and people badly overreacted to the negative one company is in the beggining stage of what will no doubt be a much worse accounting scandal
all this caused people to lose faith and bail and the dow dropped and so did most of the rest of the market
i think its great that womens wages are coming in line with men it should have always been that way

i would pitch in, but -
(a) am too tired, last 2 days 5am-5pm working outside diggng and lugging stuff around
(b) have already said my peace about the shrub too many times, hard to bring back up often because took me so long to get over the depression and anger from last november's election
(c) if there's anyone that *doesn't* need any help in an argument, it's you! you can fend for yourself in an argument better than just about anyone i've ever "met", and - i know a lot of lawyers who like to argue (even married one, heh)

in truth, she often says "president cheney," and provides ample servings of actual information to back up her claims. (he is a liar, does serve the top 1%, and is clearly a moron. .. hence the importance of his team.) ultimately, referring to a president becomes essentially the equivalent to referencing his cabinet/administration: what his team is doing.
it is atrocious. on every level.

Yes, Lucy, I do make a point to support my opinions with factual data and yes, Bush represents our government; he is the figurehead, the main bozo.
Here is how the rich avoid capital gains tax on stock investment while we pay those same taxes. Although this dates back to 1995, all still applies for today's tax structure,
This information mildly bashes Kerry but does show Bush has caused a shrinking middle class and an increasing poverty class, more people are living at poverty level now because of Bush,
Bush has created circumstances leading to last week's market crash and whatever is to come this coming week. Bush is directly responsible.
If Kerry were president, I would be equally critical of him although he is literate and well educated.
Problem here is I can only think of one event Bush got right; going into Afghanistan. All other events, he absolutely screwed up and covered up.
Afghanistan, however, Bush totally blundered there as much as we did in Vietnam. Bush allowed Osama Bin Laden to escape and this is well known. Bush should face court martial for his incompetence as commander-in-chief; dereliction of duty.
