Im the guy that does not look at that part as much as what the company is selling. Never looked at a stock chart in my life really.
You make up for it in other ways. You got the best CEO you can get for the stock, and the best product you can want. It's not just Stern. It would sell without him. It will branch into video I think one day also.
Anything with music has a great chance of selling big.

I own some. Not much, just under 800 shares. I'm looking forward to 2007. As soon as Sirius comes out with a portable satellite radio receiver as XM has, we'll see some nice profits from that!

Sirius will never be as accepted as radio for the simple fact that it does not cover local events, and you have to search through genre names and hope you classified your favorite song under the correct genre to hear it.
Local radio stations have a better selection of current music, they are free, and cover local news and events.
It will be big though, just don't expect the next big thing out of it

I think that someone has come out with that all ready. Not positive, but I'm pretty sure I heard something about it last year. I own an XM receiver for my truck. I listen mainly to the Comedy channels.

This has to be the best stock since the 90's .com era.
I followed this stock a bit on the OTC but never bought it since I never had money back then.
I can't think of any new invention that will so as big as satellite radio will.
I compare it to the cell phone growth. It will be all over one day. Just as kids carry cell phones now, satellite radio will be just as common.
I see Sirius as a giant one day in media. They have it all going for them. And my gut tells me that I am right.

this came out at 4:44 finally was posted on SIRI its about SBC and WImax....could've been why they gave back he gains today.
The economics alone could make WiMax seriously disruptive to data and voice services, potentially opening up the field to companies that aren't the usual go-to guys when it comes to this kind of stuff (read: cable or DSL providers). Let's say it was incorporated into set-top boxes — providing high-speed wireless broadband, voice-over-IP and a satellite television receiver. That's data, voice and video wrapped up in one high-speed, cost-efficient package, posing not only a challenge to cable outfits, but to phone companies as well. "That makes it horribly attractive from an economic standpoint compared to any other technology current or planned," says Mantion. And given the number of Internet radio stations out there, WiMax could even pose a threat to satellite radio upstarts XM Satellite Radio (XMSR) and Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI).

Don't let anyone fool you though guys. It's comes down to the CONTENT in the end. It wouldn't matter if you had 10 satellite radio companys starting up tomorrow.
The winner will be based on CONTENT. If anything ever happened that would pose a threat to Sirius, you would have XM and Sirius work out a deal together anyway.
Who would beat out over 260 channels combined as far as content? NOBODY
